Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Value for money, the PnP did not require me to install the drivers from the CD that comes with the packaging
I connected it, but it doesn't go above 96 Mbps on a 300 Mbps line.
Update 1/11/2023. The cable was changed to FTP cat 7 and it reaches 310 Mbps. Highly recommended.
It is the cheapest and most reliable solution for anyone who wants a Gigabit Ethernet. It is supported by all versions of Windows. In Windows 10, it connected and recognized it immediately. It has been working flawlessly for almost 1 year. It connects to a PCI-e x1 port and is small enough in size that even if you need to place it under your graphics card, it will not create any airflow issues. The packaging also includes a low profile bracket.
Quality TP-Link: Easy installation, up-to-date drivers, immediate recognition by Windows 10, uninterrupted speed. Excellent in every way.
It was purchased because the ethernet of the B550 ROG Strix on my second PC stopped working, and I didn't want to deal with warranties because the replacement would take weeks.
With almost 1.5 months of operation, I haven't noticed any problems. The drivers were installed normally, even though it was only recognized from the first boot, and since then it has been working smoothly, with at least 3-4 hours of operation per day. If anything changes, the review will be updated.
So far, it is perhaps the most value-for-money and reliable solution to have an ethernet connection on a PC with a problematic port.
Simple 1000, it does its job perfectly even on open media volt operating system, its built-in drivers were found normally by OMV. Most likely, it will be plug and play on Windows
I have had it for many years, I bought it to test something. So whenever I change machines, I remove the motherboard and install this one. Be careful when downloading drivers to check the version. This specific v2 does not have drivers for Windows 10, but there is no problem whether you install the drivers for W7 or let the 10s install their own.
Currently, it is plugged into a z490 with dual boot W7 & W10
All good. I had some old cards that, although they were working, I couldn't find drivers anywhere on the internet, so I went for new ones because the onboard had stopped working. Sometimes long-term support from companies and having their database available to the consumer is very important. As a card, it's okay, fast without any disconnections or losses. It fit into an old s775 motherboard and works great.
Excellent in its operation, it is used as a secondary in a Server with OPNSense Firewall. No detection problems from the operating systems (Linux & Windows).
Easy installation, slim, compact card, immediately recognized by Windows 10. Been using it for a month now, very stable, no issues encountered.
Fast and immediate installation on Windows 10 desktop. I got it when the onboard chip of my motherboard burned out.
Very good and reliable network card. Ideal in case the onboard Ethernet on the motherboard is burnt. In Windows 10, the drivers are installed automatically and it appears in the device manager as Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, so it has a Realtek chipset.
Real plug & play...
I bought it because suddenly the Ethernet port of my motherboard "died"...
And it even lowered the ms-ping in my games...
For example, before in LoL I had 80-90 and now I have 60-70.
And in CS:GO I had 100-120 and now I reach 70-80.
So it helps a lot and I can't get these numbers out of my mind since I always played with the same ms-ping and that's why these low pings seemed strange to me.
Is it worth it? Absolutely.. It only requires a PCI Express x1.
Plug & Play literally, I didn't even need to install the drivers that were included in the package! Excellent card with PCI-E interface, and affordable price. So far, I haven't noticed any kind of disconnections. Also very satisfied with TP-Link, as after the wireless receiver that I have had for 3+ years and works flawlessly, my very good experience continues with the wired ones too
