A very underrated lens. I got it as a kit with the xt10 and although initially I planned to replace it with an 18-55mm lens, after 1 year of use I decided to stick with it as it performs almost everything very well. Of course, the 18-55mm lens is superior, but what makes me stay with the 16-50mm lens is explained below... Yes, it's not as bright as the 18-55mm lens, which is f2.8-4, but with this lens, I gain 2mm (16mm compared to 18mm) which I find much more useful than the difference between 50mm and 55mm. Very lightweight, thanks to its plastic construction, extremely silent AF, very good OIS, very good color reproduction, decent contrast, and quite sharp! I definitely wouldn't recommend buying it at this price, but for those who have it as a kit with a body, just don't make the mistake of underestimating it from the beginning. If you think that because it's a kit lens, it doesn't belong in the same quality category (especially in terms of sharpness) as the equivalent kits from Sony, Nikon, Canon, you will be surprised by the Fujifilm Fujinon XC 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 II OIS.
