I have the screen from a well-known store's preorder, before it appeared on skroutz.
I give it 4 stars because with these kind of money you expect perfection, so I deduct for every small flaw.
My problem was finding a 32:9 monitor that would work for both my work (3D modeling, texturing for game dev) and gaming. This is the only one that has it ALL. Flawless color accuracy for a "gaming" monitor (there are better ones but they are not suitable for gaming at all), the black is black, the response is great, overall you won't find anything better that covers both.
Now let's move on to the negatives.
The remote control has shortcuts for Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, as if it's a TV. Is there a possibility that someone would open Netflix from the monitor's operating system instead of using the PC?
Its operating system is a Chinese OS that they put in cheap smart TVs and you spend 15 years in the menu. Again, TV features on a PC monitor, annoying.
Its transformer is external, a big heavy brick. It could have been internal but they preferred to make it ultra slim and give you a rock to hide it.
The "USB hub" has only 2 ports.
For some strange reason, it has a micro HDMI input. (??????)
It requires setup when you buy it because it has 500 useless "smart" functions that make the experience worse (automatic color change, lighting, etc.)
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the price, which may be a bit overpriced. The blacks are black, being OLED, so you don't expect anything different. However, the downside of AMOLED/OLED is the burn-in issue, but the screen has taken care of that with a work-around called pixel-shifting, which you can notice in a work environment. Overall, it is a very impressive screen with many capabilities. For the record, in order to see the operating system at 240hz, the screen should be in Gaming Mode as it plays at a lower default setting. It would also be good if the user could tweak the colors because they may notice a difference from another panel.
