The Sony SEL55210 lens offers the range you need for subjects like sports and nature. The built-in image stabilization system reduces image blur even when shooting at a distance or in low light.

Instead of the typical polygonal-shaped lens aperture, this lens features a 7-blade circular aperture for more natural and smooth background defocusing (bokeh).
Aspherical lens elements minimize distortion, while ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements provide top-notch contrast, resolution, and color fidelity.
The internal focusing mechanism means that the lens body does not move, offering a more compact design, faster autofocus response, and reduced minimum focusing distances.

I have this lens for a cropped camera and not a full frame. I use it for the Sony A6000. I am almost completely satisfied and the only thing that sometimes bothers me is that it doesn't have very fast autofocus. Other than that, it allows me to take photos from a distance that I wouldn't be able to do otherwise. I should mention that it adds weight to the camera, but that's not so important that I would comment negatively on it. Personally, I would recommend it, especially for amateur use.
The lens is good for its price. If someone needs excellent results in their photos, they should skip it and go for something more high-quality and expensive. For amateur use, without demands and a low budget, I recommend it but only for that purpose.
For the money, he is very good and high quality in construction.
I would like him to have a smaller f, but such lenses cost 600+ euros! and this one is only 200+
Simply it is a complement to the 16-50. It is of good quality construction and its stabilization works very well. It is ideal for shooting videos from a distance as it is almost completely silent. The only problem is when you want to capture different scenes, you will have to switch it with the 16-50.
Excellent for nature, animals, distance, and good price
