I have it for many years and it proved to be a "beast". I have drilled many holes with a 14mm drill bit, 40cm long, in concrete without much effort. The only problem is that it burned a capacitor, which I think is meant to prevent parasites in the electrical network when it's operating. I removed it and it works perfectly fine. I don't remember when I bought it (definitely before 2007), but it probably needs new brushes now because it produces more sparks, which is natural after so many years.

Did you find this review helpful?AMAZING tool!!! EXCELLENT build quality, lightweight, with EXCEPTIONAL durability in prolonged use, it is not powerful (only 2 Joules) and finally, it has a long cable. Since I bought it in 2007 for hobby use, it has worked many times continuously for a long time, breaking tiles and breaking or drilling brick walls without difficulty and without getting too hot. Due to its low power, every time I needed to break concrete, I pressed it so hard because of its low power that it would heat up so much that you could only hold it by the plastic front handle and not directly by the plastic body, and yet it still works almost like the first day. It is also excellent for drilling into brick and stone walls, and it drills satisfactorily into concrete (with a masonry drill bit) despite its low power. I have serviced it twice.
