If you've held computer fans in your hands, these ones resemble a child's toy! What a shame...the plastic legs are completely fake, they are not suitable for use as a stand on an HP 255 G7 15.6" laptop. The air it exhausts is half of what a 120mm fan costing 10 euros would produce. I expected more speed for heat dissipation.
On the positive side, I want to believe that its durability over time and the minimal airflow it provides to the battery and processor during the summer are beneficial.
I will return in case I need to add anything.
Noisy at first but then it stops making noise. The leg broke after about 3 years. Very basic product.
Very bad choice. Noisy (with increasing tendencies). Cheap construction. The legs broke very quickly. The fans are just acceptable. It is better for someone to spend more money on something more efficient.
The laptop is 15.6 and the base is very marginal. I would like it a little bigger and the fans with more power
Marginally 15.6"... Very ergonomic. I have it in semi-permanent placement with Velcro (scratch-scratch), when you close the legs, you can carry the laptop as if there is no stand... The fans do a little work, nothing amazing... If you use them constantly after a year they start making noise, and you have to press the fans in the center to make them stop... The worst thing is that if you don't pay attention, the legs break... For its price, it's perfect!
For its price, it's OK. If the laptop is not used for gaming and hard use in general, it is a good and cheap choice.
I bought the stand for a 13-inch laptop and it is exactly what I wanted. It has the perfect size without being too big for the laptop, although I believe it wouldn't be sufficient for larger inches. Instead of pulling, the fans could blow air, I think they would achieve the same result with fewer rotations (thus less noise).
As for the positives, I appreciate the two fans which, despite pulling instead of blowing air, have never let the laptop heat up. It is also very convenient for transportation as it is very thin.
As for the negatives, I would mention the increased noise, which is subjective, and the lack of at least one USB port.
Overall, it is a good product for its price.
It didn't work for me. Instead of providing cooling to the laptop, it generates heat (ineffectively). Maybe with larger fans or higher speeds, it could do the job. Also, a negative aspect is that the plastic grilles broke quickly
Very good cooler, relatively quiet and at a very good price (I bought it for 10 euros). I highly recommend it for laptops up to 15.6 inches.
With the 10th day, it started making noise. I do not recommend it.
