The OnePlus Nord 3 5G features a simple, discreet design that looks like it belongs to something much more expensive. The Tempest Gray has a stormy 2.8D silk glass cover with a frosted texture that is anti-glare and anti-fingerprint, while the Misty Green comes with a sleek celadon glossy glass. The slim 8.15mm design and flat edges ensure a hand feel that is thick in comfort.

Update 20/11: After almost a year, the battery health remains at 100%.
Update 26/06: I'm back after several months to report that with Smart Charging, the battery health is at 100%, showing zero issues.
Update 11/01: Happy New Year!
I have activated Smart Charging (i.e., charging up to 80%) for my needs, and I easily get at least 2 days. The reason I activated it is to prolong the battery's lifespan in the long term.
Update 31/12:
"Used since last charge: 3d 5h 28min" with SoT: 3h 27min --- 29% battery, I'm putting it on charge, it's 17:31.
It reached 100% at 17:57, in 26 minutes.
As for the rest, I haven't noticed anything negative, which is why I haven't commented on anything; I focused on the battery since almost all negative comments are about it.
Also, I'm not concerned about the photos, so I have no opinion on that area.
I hope that in these 14 days that I am posting updates, I have helped you.
Happy New Year to us!
Update 30/12:
"Used since last charge: 1d 22h 38min" with SoT: 2h 17min --- 60% battery
Update 28/12:
Android 14 has arrived, let's see what will change with the battery...
Update 27/12:
"Used since last charge: 1d 18h 3min" with SoT: 2h 51min --- 63% battery (you see that based on the Update on 24/12, there is no stable condition in draining; now with more SoT, but 2 hours less, I have more battery).
Update 25/12: I didn't keep exact data, but I was at 33% battery with SoT of about 3.30 hours, just as I put it on charge.
Update 24/12:
"Used since last charge: 1d 20h 19min" with SoT: 2h 19min --- 60% battery (the photos are awaiting approval from the admin, that's why they are not visible yet)
Update 22/12:
"Used since last charge: 5d 10h 09min" with SoT: 3h 10min --- 14% battery (Power Saving Mode active, just dropped to 20%)
I'm uploading a related photo, in case it seems excessive.
Also from 14% to 100% in about ~29 minutes (I'm also attaching the photo).
Update 21/12:
"Used since last charge: 4d 7h 26min" with SoT: 2h 48min --- 31% battery
Update 20/12:
"Used since last charge: 3d 7h 24min" with SoT: 2h 18min --- 48% battery
Update 17/12:
I will post updates regarding the battery and not just that.
Idle for 5 hours: battery consumption 4%
Original Post: I won't say much since almost everything has already been said, just regarding the battery, which many say is the weak point of the device, it holds up just fine:
I am almost exactly 48 hours from the last charge (max, at 100%), with 4 hours SoT and the battery is at 52% (but be careful, without playing games)
the battery life is absolutely terrible, in a day of simple use it might drain 2 times and I haven't even had it for a week, just enough already, the only good thing is that it charges quickly
Former owner of the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Huge difference, the phone is a beast, from the screen, speed, sound, signal, cameras it also excels, this switch it has to change modes between silent etc. is very convenient, the fingerprint under the screen is quite fast and accurate. There are 3 negatives if you get this phone, one is that it doesn't have an aux port for headphones which is annoying for anyone used to it needing an adapter, the other is that it doesn't accept a memory card and the last is the battery which drains very quickly (no, it doesn't last a day) what is a big advantage is the charging speed which mitigates this problem, literally I plug it in to charge, do a couple of chores at home and take it out full makes you forget that the battery runs out quickly.
I have had it for a few months and I am very satisfied.
It has not frozen at all, it is very fast and has a very nice screen, bright with nice colors.
It is nothing like the junk Xiaomi phones I had before. This is class superior.
It charges very, very quickly and that is very convenient.
I happened to have 20% battery, I put it to charge and took my dog for a short walk of about 15 minutes and when I returned it was at 100%.
Nice phone and not heavy for its size.
I have the model with 16GB and I have been a user for 3 weeks now. The cameras compared to the previous phone I had (Redmi Note 10 Pro) are perfect with vibrant colors, and they don't lose any details when zooming in, especially numbers and letters from a distance. At night, you take pictures as if it were day. The video quality is also very nice. Simple and clean operating system, compared to Hyper OS. The battery is okay; it struggles to last the day with heavy use, but it charges in less than 30 minutes and is ready for use again with the 80W fast charger. The processor is last year's flagship from MediaTek, which is slower with a lesser processor compared to this year's models at double the price. The screen is very nice, with 6.74 inches and quite bright. I got it for 314 euros. Of course, it is worth the money.
Excellent device, so far there has been no problem. Very fast loading of files and applications, high quality communication, very good color performance in photos. Those looking for photographic performance should go buy a 1000 euro DSLR and not have such demands from a 300 euro phone!
Having heard a lot about the clean functionality of 1+, I expected something better. It is the most bloated with ads and bloatware I have ever had. I previously had Xiaomi and Poco. Also, the battery life is not good at all. On the positive side, the camera and the screen. For now, it does the job, but at the first good opportunity, I will look to change it
Overall, it is a device that in the category of €300-350 is probably the best. However, I will mention some negatives that, from what I see, have not been mentioned in the comments:
1. Android Auto: I don't know if it's the phone or my car, but it has never managed to connect wirelessly AUTOMATICALLY to the car's screen. It requires 2-3 actions and from what I've read in forums, many face the same problem. A friend's iPhone connects directly before he even sits in the seat...
2. Bluetooth: The connection with paired Bluetooth devices unfortunately does not happen directly with the activation of Bluetooth. I need to do it manually or wait about a minute.
3. Overly sensitive screen: I haven't managed to find any additional settings beyond the usual ones; the phone just does its own thing when you hold it. If it reads your face and you simply touch the screen, it will unlock and then whatever happens...
4. Gestures: Sometimes they work, sometimes they drive you crazy, even for a simple slide back...
Overall, I agree with the other comments; the issues I mention make me barely give it 3 stars. These are everyday functions, and if they don't work properly, then you start to worry a bit...
I hope they get resolved with upcoming updates
Amazing phone, up to 400 euros it is the best choice. Sound, screen, camera, performance all work like a charm. I heard a lot of negatives about the battery but it lasts me a day with normal use and gaming, you can't say it's bad. I didn't experience overheating, the temperatures are normal, now if you play very heavy games I don't know but it's normal for any phone to heat up.
Nice software, nice photos, lightweight, beautiful, just heats up easily, basically heats up quite a bit because I use a hotspot on the PC, heats up resulting in me taking off the case for fear of it falling, although it has fallen down several times, it hasn't been damaged, durable
If your priority is the camera, go for Pixel. If gaming is a priority, go for Poco. If you want something in between, it's the absolute vfm. Good screen, amazing haptics, build quality, design, good sound during calls and music. Average camera, decent processor, clean operating system.
I've had it for a month. Coming from a Redmi Note 9, I am satisfied with the device. I believe it is worth the price I bought it for (334€). The only thing that bothers me is that at the end of the day it is at 18% to 20% without me being on the phone constantly and without using it for games. Of course, the big advantage of the device is the built-in 80W charger.
Excellent phone.
Nice screen, very capable processor, good sound quality.
At around 340 euros, the 16/256 version is one of the most powerful devices you can find. Very fast, it won't lag anywhere.
Its cameras are simply decent.
However, the battery life is not good. The phone drains faster than I expected. The Mediatek Dimensity 9000, besides being very powerful, is power-hungry. Fortunately, the 80-watt charger included in the box charges the device in about 30 minutes.
It will receive updates up to Android 16, which means you are covered until 2026.
Speed, Screen resolution, Build quality, Value for money
Excellent performance of RAM and processor, very comfortable to use. As for the drawbacks, I would mention minor bugs of the operating system as well as the high battery consumption
ONEPLUS FOREVER. After my failed purchase of the POCO X6 PLUS, I returned to familiar territory. The phone is at the top of midrange devices. The battery with 80-watt charging is worth every penny. It charges really fast. The processor is very good, a flagship-level Mediatek 9000. I found an amazing case for the phone on TEMU. It has major updates up to Android 16 and then a year of security updates. I got it in 16/256 black and I am really very happy. The photos are very good and the video is amazing with stabilization and 4K at 60. What more can you ask for in 2024 for 350 euros?
Amazing device. It has nothing to envy from flagship models of big companies. Very good sound and battery...almost a year and the device is running smoothly. Photos are very good. And the video is full resolution
First time with OnePlus after some thought, very fast, good camera, good sound, its battery is a bit weak I believe it will be fixed with some update, I've had it for about a month, get it without hesitation, you won't regret it....
After market research, I ended up with this specific phone. I admit that it is one of the best on the market. At the incredible price of 380 Euro from a large chain of branded stores, it is the best option. Flawless photos, amazing processor; it is not a coincidence that it was used in flagship models two years ago. It doesn't lag at all, the sound is very clear, and the screen is a feast for the eyes. If you don't want to spend too much money, at the price it is now, I highly recommend it for everything it offers. You will definitely be completely satisfied!!!
Whatever you say is an understatement for the performance of this phone. Not only because it is fast but also because it shows almost no flaws in daily use, all thanks to its very good and well-thought-out operating system. The speakers are perfect, the camera is more than decent, the screen is 9/10, and it has a perfect aspect ratio for better grip in the hand. Let's say that one downside might be that it seems fragile, but with a decent case for 10 euros, that’s taken care of. Anyone looking for a VFM phone should close their eyes and get it.
I think it's one of the most complete and honest devices in its category; it does everything quickly and effortlessly, and it has 4 years of support. In photos, it falls a bit short, especially at night, but it's not a DSLR camera; it is exceedingly decent and a killer of more expensive phones and very high quality.
Very fast processor, does not lag at all. The camera is quite good, not top-notch. It heats up a bit but not to a concerning degree. I consider it one of the best at this price
I've had it for about 6 months, I got it for about 350 euros. The battery scared me to be honest, but after two or three updates it's perfectly fine, plus when it charges in 25 minutes you don't really care that much. It was heating up at first but it's all good now. Battery health is 99%, I've set it to charge up to 85% and I charge it when it goes to 20%. The thing is, guys, to not keep it at the extremes or close to the extremes 0-100 for too long. The processor is a beast! The phone hasn't lagged anywhere! I've done everything! IT DOES NOT WANT TO LAG! Especially the version with 16GB RAM/256GB ROM. It has fallen a ton of times, not a scratch, just a little mark on the side after it fell from 1.5 meters onto tiles. The phone is worth 1000!
Very good phone with a large screen, powerful hardware, fast software, and lightweight, but because the screen response is up to 1000hz, it works with about 500+ hz, maybe 1000, which is why it drains the battery
Honest mobile. A bit plain operating system, without bloatware. Good build quality. Got Android 14 a month and a half before another mobile (Realme GT 5G) that I have.
One of the top 3 phones even today for up to €400. Fast with plenty of RAM, fast charging, and approximately 6 hours of screen-on time like most phones. Those who complain about the battery are usually the ones who keep their LOCATION open due to ignorance, resulting in quick battery drain.
Perhaps the king of the midrange at the moment, especially in terms of camera. We don't even compare it to the more popular Samsung A54 and A55. It simply outperforms them.
I will not mention many things that have already been mentioned, as more or less everything is true, both positive and negative. For its price, it is excellent, especially for someone who wants it for relatively simple everyday use, like social media and calls. One negative thing that bothers me a lot is that there have been inexplicable freezes sometimes, specifically when it is locked and I try to unlock it, the screen flickers and I have to press the power button on the side for a long time in order to get the option to power off or restart. I have had it for 7 months now and I believe it is not justified, especially with the relatively light use I give it. Everyone knows more or less the glitches of Android, so the next mobile, whether we like it or not, will be an iPhone.
