The bookcase from HomeMarkt is made of particle board (chipboard), a wood derivative made from small pieces of wood and sawdust. Externally, it features a melamine coating, which offers resistance to scratches, abrasion, and corrosives. It has shelves for organizing and storing books and other items.
What to watch out for when installing the furniture
To avoid accidents, a preventive approach is the best way. In the case of furniture, the best way to achieve this is by properly securing every piece of furniture over 75 cm in height to the wall.
Depending on the type of wall (drywall, brick, concrete, etc.) and the furniture, it is necessary to use appropriate fittings, such as screws, wall plugs, etc., which ensure the safety of both the wall and the furniture during use, as well as the proper securing of the furniture to the wall. If you are unsure about the appropriate fittings to use, seek the help of a specialist.

Very good! Easy to assemble (requires patience though, those are 30 screws, especially if you do it manually with a screwdriver), elegant and practical. It's not the most sturdy thing out there, but for this price it's worth it and more. The only negative (at least in my case) is that the adhesive caps, those that cover the sides so that the screws are not visible, were 25 instead of 30.
Great value for money, this specific bookshelf! However, I had a little difficulty with its construction because the screws don't catch immediately and it might "dig into" the wood a bit if you're not careful!
