The Witch Hazel Tincture is derived from the immersion of the aerial parts of witch hazel in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the above herbs dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.

In modern herbal therapy, Witch Hazel is considered particularly effective in treating:

• General bleeding

The action of Witch Hazel is believed to be due to the fact that it shrinks blood vessels and returns them to their normal size.
