I am a beginner when it comes to playing the piano or keyboard, so I wanted a relatively affordable solution to learn how to play. The midi is lightweight, has a decent plastic construction, and good button response. Don't expect the feel of regular piano keys - it does have aftertouch, though. It is plug and play. It depends entirely on the software (Analog Lab) that comes with the purchase, which I haven't fully explored yet since it has a ton of options. It is for someone who wants to start music production and wants to explore synths. The midi is meant to be placed on a desk and played - it doesn't have a mount socket, and that's a disadvantage. The software is demanding in terms of memory and computer performance. On Windows 11 with an i5 and 16GB, it runs smoothly.
