I bought this mobile from a well-known large chain during a Black Friday sale for almost half the price, coming from the Redmi Note 8 Pro (which was a workhorse and I still have as a backup). I have the following observations to make:
1) Screen. Night and day. Excellent colors, brightness, and fluidity.
2) Sound is also night and day, louder and of better quality.
3) Camera. Nothing special, but it gets the job done. If you are exclusively interested in the camera, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is better, and I recommend it.
4) Battery. Easily lasts a day, but I expected it to be better. For greater savings, set the screen to 60Hz and the network to 4G. Also, disable various ads (related tutorials are available on YouTube).
That's about it. If I notice anything else, I will return with a new review. I hope I helped.
I have been following Xiaomi for quite a few years now (former LG user) since the Redmi Note Pro 8, which not only left me completely and absolutely satisfied but I can say it might be the best and most durable smartphone that has passed through my hands.. always in terms of quality-price ratio of course.. because if you spend around 1,500 euros, you can definitely find better... after the 9 and then the 10.. I didn't continue to the 11, 12, etc. because for the money they cost, the Poco series offers the same and more for the same or less money, so I ended up saying to try one of those models... so far I am satisfied...
The battery doesn't last long enough, and the sound is a bit lacking... But overall, a very good phone.
It is not worth even 100 euros, and this is said by a Poco F user. After one, I have bought them all. This one is for the trash. The battery performance is unacceptable. The phone, after almost a year of use, freezes, as does the lock button, which has gone crazy, pressing whatever it wants, and the phone restarts by itself. It really is not worth spending your money on.
Do you want to spend €650 to be a beta tester for Xiaomi? Go ahead! The phone is garbage! The battery with Hyper OS drains in 6-7-8 hours. Don't listen to any Xiaomi fanboy who will try to convince you that it's fine! Truly wasted money!
Within a year, the phone's circuit board burned out at the charging point, resulting in it not charging and having to take apart the entire phone from the back to replace it. Hey Xiaomi, fix the camera a bit. Improve the night photo quality and the video and zoom, for goodness' sake. You ask for so much money; I want to give it to you, but don't force me to turn to another brand for a better camera. Reach Samsung's level a bit, and then you'll be number one. As for the battery, it indeed drains very quickly within a year and needs to be charged a second time during the day.
Strong device, (512 gb) works flawlessly throughout the day. Ok I would like the battery to last longer, it would be perfect. Belongs to the top range of devices and rightfully earns that title.
It's not as fast as the old good Xiaomi, but still difficult to beat. + greatly improved camera
First of all, I have to say that I imported the phone from Europe at the price of 370€ in the 12/256 version, for this money and with these features I don't know if there is something better. As for the phone, it has an excellent screen, very good sound, flawless signal, very fast and a camera quite good, of course in relation to the money you give.
I have it for 8 months after demanding use (gaming etc.) and extreme torture of the phone in my hands I can say the following: This phone is a war dog, I had no complaints at all. I bought it for 650 euros and I do not regret it at all, on the contrary, even if it cost 1000 euros it would be worth it since this phone easily competes with phones of this category. Very good camera front and back with many tools, very good image quality of the camera video or photo. Nice resolution pen for accuracy. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of buying it.
P.S.: After all this, my phone feels like I bought it yesterday
I have it for about two months.. Very good in everything, the only negative is that many times it gets quite hot, mainly during charging, and when I play games.
It heats up more easily than the Poco f1 I had for 5 years.. It's a pity because I often think it will catch fire. I will contact the company to see if only mine has a temperature problem.
Update: After 4 months of use, everything is fine, it just heats up quite a bit when I charge it mainly, but if you take off the protective case it breathes better and heats up less.. Anyway, when you unplug it from charging it cools down quickly, so all good..
Very nice phone. My previous model was the poco f1, compared to the f1, which was better at the time it was released at that price, but this one is also very good. It has no issues with games, very good speakers, fast. I don't have an opinion on the camera, I don't use it much for that, but it takes good videos. The battery is great, with normal use it easily lasts a day and has some margin. The charger that comes with it takes it from 0 to 100 in an hour easily. I've had it for 6 months and it hasn't had any problems so far.
12/512.
Photos don't interest me much.
Very good screen and sound.
Games and browsing lightning fast.
Fingerprint instant.
Snapdragon gen1 processor.
RAM memory after update to HyperOs became 12+8GB.
Worth it.
--------UPDATE 1-4-24------
The phone started rebooting until it shut down from battery.... It didn't charge and didn't do anything!!!! Dead!!!!
RETURN AND REFUND!!!!
Purchase 23-1-24 only two months.........
FINALLY IT WASN'T WORTH IT!!!!
I have had it for two months and I am already thinking of selling it.
The only positive thing is the speed and battery life.
The speaker sometimes makes the sound sound more sour.
But the biggest downside is the camera.
No clarity at all. You have to lower the resolution in the video to avoid lagging (and in the sound too).
It distorts the colors, making them darker or warmer-cooler.
A big disappointment.
I have trusted Xiaomi consistently for the past 10 years, without any deviations, even though I have tried other devices, especially those from big brands (the problem with those is that I consider them overpriced). I come from the Note 9 Pro, which has been working flawlessly until today, with 0 issues, and obviously I will keep it as a multimedia phone within the house for as long as it lasts. Unfortunately, the Poco F5 Pro does not take good photos and videos, although it is very fast in terms of speed and shows equal durability with exceptional sound and screen. Besides the cameras, what bothers me is the fact that it does not have security support for more than 3 years. Additionally, the Mi account is very bad and has caused me many verification problems to the point where I got frustrated.
Everything is good, except for the camera. I come from the P30 Pro and there is no comparison, especially in the camera. The only reason I will change it immediately
The mobile phone is amazing.. It is truly the best value for money, guys.. There is nothing negative about it.. You just take it and you are comfortable with anything because this little monster doesn't get in the way anywhere
Coming from the poco f1 unfortunately huge difference much worse the f5. It doesn't catch signal anywhere. The fingerprint takes too long to read it and other times it doesn't read it at all.
Real flagship killer. From battery, sound, speakers, and especially this wonderful screen. And the super fast charging of 65w. And wireless charging of 30w. And huge capacity of 512 gb. And huge RAM of 12gb, expandable with software to 19 gb! And all of this for around 500€? Well, yes, it's worth it and more. Xiaomi forever, I come from Mi Max 2 and Mi 9.
Very good for prices around 450€.-(probably purchased on Black Friday)-. Plenty of memory capacity (12/512), lightning fast speed. Photos are simply good, regular updates. Excellent battery with fast charging, good screen, no overheating issues. - However, it has been overpriced so far.!?
Let it cry! The iPhone pro 14-15 can't even compare! They don't stand a chance! Both in terms of speed and quality of videos, photos, etc... Goodnight iPhone users...!
At first, I had concerns and was thinking of getting the Poco F5, but in the end, I decided to go with the Pro and I don't regret it. But essentially, my old phone Redmi Note 7 lasted me 5 years even though the screen broke. The phone is good, but the only downside is that it doesn't have a storage capacity of 512 GB. For someone who wants to play games, use social media, browse the internet, etc., I recommend either the F5 or the F5 Pro. I am satisfied with the battery life and duration, depending on usage, and there is also fast charging available.
Coming from P1, P3, the mobile is excellent and I also have an iPhone as a second one for other work. The Poco Pro is much superior
Very satisfied, fast as exactly as I wanted. The photos are nothing special but in this category it is considered satisfactory. I recommend it.
I come from Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite... I bought the Poco F5 Pro for 560€ with 256GB. The positives of the phone are its resolution, how fast the processor is, its amazing sound, and the strong and clear microphone during calls, although I have to lower it. The negatives, at least for me, are that it is a bit bulky in size, making it difficult to hold with one hand. I would prefer it to be slightly smaller. Also, the battery lasts for about a day with a little more usage, but with the fast charging it supports, you can have it fully charged in 40 minutes at most. Finally, I don't find any significant difference in the camera compared to the previous model I had. Another negative aspect is its weight after 5 months of use. It is not the lightest phone, and after some time of usage, the hand gets tired
For its price (September 2023), the 512gb black is unbeatable.. I want arguments from anyone who disagrees
Incredibly fast, perfect screen, music doesn't lag at all, large memory, but the battery barely lasts with moderate use, only one day in games, unreachable
I have the mobile phone in my hands today, so far it seems to withstand a tremendous amount of pressure! I will come back.....
