Purchase 11/24 at a price close to 1000 euros. For this money, unique quality. Supports up to 12bit color as well as 120Hz. Blacks are fantastic and the HDR (thanks to Dolby Vision and not only) is very wide.

The television is truly excellent. The picture is unbeatable. It comes very close to that of the LG G36, which for me is the best released in 2023.
There are many settings, excellent brightness, and color performance.
Regarding the sound, it is reasonable that such a thin television does not have exceptional performance. However, with the addition of a soundbar, there is absolutely no problem.
For me personally, as someone who was a fan of SONY, LG really takes you to another level.
What I am waiting to see in the future is whether it has the reliability of SONY. The future will tell.
Since I searched a lot to find a television with good picture quality, I think that in this area, especially in OLED televisions, the choices are SONY and LG. Incredible colors, very fast menu, the remote control is very user-friendly and I had no trouble learning it at all. Many easy settings to adjust the viewing and sound without searching through endless menus. The sound is good but not anything special; like all, you need to add an external device if you want to enjoy a cinematic experience. Anyway, LG is a one-way street - I think - for TVs and this one is a very good purchase now that its price has dropped significantly since last year.

Coming from the LG C1 65 I thought after 2 years it was time for an upgrade! I went for the C3 77 (purchased at 2400 on offer)! Whoever has the financial ability should not think too much! Upgrade in everything! Picture, brightness, menu, gaming (for sound I have no opinion as there is a soundbar)! One of the top OLED panels if not the top (except for the G3 which is out of price)! It is the second OLED in the series that I use and of course there is no turning back!!

In my opinion, it could cost 200-300 € less since I bought it in 2024 and it is a 2023 model, but on the other hand, those from 2024 cost €2000 and above. Overall, very good construction, perfect blacks, very fast menu. If you can and want to spend €600 more than a nanocell or qled and watch series on Netflix, Amazon, Disney, etc., it's worth it. If you only watch digital channels, then you won't see any crazy difference

But I was lucky and the C3 series came out with a very good offer in June, and I bought it for €730 with a 5-year premium warranty. At this price, there is no comparison. Let's talk about the TV - the black is incredible and almost perfect. The upscaling it does on channels is very good. The menu is easy and fast, and the remote control is very nice. If it had backlighting, it would be perfect. The sound is good, but I wanted a bit more bass for movies. The colors and contrast of the image are fantastic. The brightness on the C model, as well as on the higher-end G, is very good, while the B is a bit darker. Additionally, the frame is very beautiful and slim.

Did you find this review helpful?I cannot write a review because my transition to OLED was from an old CRT! So whatever I describe will be like the miracle of Christ, I was blind and now I see!
However, I must fill in some gaps that previous reviews have left.The brightness is excellent! Even in relatively low ambient lighting in the room, I have to activate the energy-saving mode because the screen is very bright and after a while it strains the eyes.
There are a million combinations of image settings that I am still trying out almost a month later. Of course, there is also the option for AI to take care of everything, which either helps you out (or confuses you even more). For every choice that you find suitable, there is also the reset option that brings it back to the initial setting, so you can start from scratch.
There are also endless sound settings, and if you choose the AI option, it is slightly better because it distinguishes speech from other sounds. For the Dolby Atmos option, you will definitely need an external amplifier (and speakers) through the optical port because it is completely lost with its own speakers.
You can connect your mobile phone to the TV and use it as a remote control (but really, what's the point?) or simply view the mobile phone screen on the TV, but only through the LG ThinQ application, which you need to download. Of course, don't expect to see the mobile phone on a 55-inch screen. It only uses a narrow strip in the middle and the rest is just black. Because I am still exploring it, there may be a setting for full-screen viewing and I might be unfair to it. If I find it, I will come back to it.
The menu is a bit difficult and complex to use, you have to press many different buttons, especially in the settings, and to switch from Live TV to subscription-based, it takes 3-4 steps. It has some shortcuts, but they only work if you are within the same application. Live TV with subscriptions has different applications, so you have to necessarily go back to the Home screen, open the new application, and then find the channel you want. If we also count the confirmations that it asks you every time if you really want to exit the application, then you have at least 4-5 steps to change the channel.

Nice colors, but probably due to the size of the TV (55"), the image quality wasn't good in HD quality (e.g., MAK TV with some "forgotten" Greek series), always in relation to the previous TV. (Update 8/24: I eventually discovered that a low-quality broadcast/movie doesn't look good for the first 1-2 minutes. After that, the processor takes over and the image improves quite a bit.) However, when you watched anything in resolution from FHD - 4K, the situation changed noticeably. In a dark environment - for which I mainly bought it - there was absolutely no comparison. Just the fact that you could move the mouse pointer without the ambient lighting of the image being distorted is enough for me. I don't know if that's a valid reason, but that's why I bought it. I heard "left-right" that OLEDs have issues in bright spaces and I was worried for months, while I had started thinking about Mini Led. In the end, the TV is just fine in a bright environment, it might have an issue if you have a light source (window) facing it. I don't have that, so it's perfect regarding ambient lighting. I left the sound on AI mode; otherwise, you have to adjust it constantly to hear somewhat quality, depending on the show. If you keep it low, forget it... If you raise the volume, things improve somewhat, but nothing crazy. The sj810V I had was better. The older Web OS was much easier/simple; I liked it more for what I needed. The new one is, of course, faster. Some things in the menu have become more complicated; I can't understand the reason (e.g., before you could change the timing of subtitles in movies with 2 buttons, now it "drives you crazy" forcing you to go into menus... WebOs doesn't show you a CHROME environment (or I couldn't find how), you can have the corresponding functions from the LG environment, but I found it more convenient with Chrome. If you watch movies from a flash drive or HDD, they need to be exFAT formatted for the Greek subtitles to work. Now I'm slowly learning its full capabilities. I don't regret buying it (personally, I think I ...stole it... for 966 euros from a well-known store). I just hope it lasts as long as I kept the previous one (7 years without problems, still works fine). The attached photos cannot in any way convey its image quality. They reduce and distort it. I would suggest watching HDR videos on YouTube, which are much better than the photos, but slightly closer to reality if you see them on an old Led TV.

Did you find this review helpful? The television has flawless picture quality, no doubt about it, but compared to an older LG model that I had, it is missing some things! Such as:
1. It does not have the time machine feature to record programs. LG told me that this function has been discontinued due to copyright issues. I consider this nonsense, since when can't you record a TV show? This issue was resolved in court 40 years ago when VCRs were first released. Today, even a simple receiver can do this.
2. Switching between satellite channels and regular channels is terrible. It takes 5 to 6 steps to do this, while in the old model it only took 2 clicks since you could save your channels in the menu where you also save apps.
3. It does not have an RCA output to adjust the sound through it, in order to connect a simple stereo.
4. It does not have a rear power socket to easily remove the TV from the furniture. Was the cost of removing this feature so high? Only LG knows!
5. It freezes when playing video files from a USB stick in NTFS format (works fine if the USB stick is formatted as exFAT)! And this is annoying when you want to watch something, because when it disconnects on its own, the sound does not synchronize with the image.
