You can put them without any oil, but I recommend adding a little bit to make them better and crispy. At first, I only put as many as fit on the bottom, but then I saw that you can put a lot, just make sure to stir them every 5-10 minutes, otherwise only the top ones will cook. I also made chicken nuggets, they turned out great, and burgers to see how they would be (they were delicious!).
