The Galesyn Insect Repellent Family is an insect repellent spray suitable for children, with a guaranteed formula containing 20% IR3535 for effective action against mosquitoes and ticks.

Instructions for use

Apply the product evenly to exposed skin and spread the required amount of product to evenly cover the parts of the body not covered by clothing. 

For application on the face:

  • First spray an amount of the product into the palm of your hand and then apply it to the skin of the face, avoiding the eye area. 
  • Application on children under 12 years old should be done by an adult. 
  • Do not apply the product to cuts, wounds, freshly shaved or irritated skin. 
  • Do not use under clothing. 
  • In case of heavy sweating or after swimming, the product should be reapplied.

Frequency of application: 

  • The product is usually applied once daily.

In cases where reapplication is required, the maximum number of applications per day should not exceed:

  • Adults and children over 12 years old: three times daily.
  • Children between 2 and 12 years old: twice daily.
  • Children under 2 years old: once daily. Handle products responsibly. Keep out of reach of children.
  • Always read the label and product information before use. 

Action - Active Ingredients

IR3535: 

IR3535 or ethyl butylacetylaminopropionate, is a body insect repellent that repels and protects against a wide range of various insects, such as mosquitoes (including the Tiger mosquito), ticks, and sandflies, reducing exposure to insect-borne diseases like Zika, malaria, or dengue fever. 

The structure of IR3535 is based on beta-alanine, a beta-amino acid found in nature, which allows IR3535 to have an excellent safety profile.

Generally, IR3535 is safe for use even on infants, pregnant, and breastfeeding women. It is biodegradable and fully decomposes in the environment in a very short period of time. 

It is a colorless, odorless liquid that can be applied by adults even before bedtime. 

Ideal for the whole family, outdoor activities, and travel to countries where dengue fever, Chikungunya, or Zika viruses, and West Nile virus infections have been identified.
