I would buy it again!
The only disadvantage compared to another more expensive product I had is, in my opinion, the texture which is thicker and takes a little longer to absorb. Other than that, I believe it provides proper hydration.
Very disappointed with this product because the company named it based on its cicaplast range, but it no longer contains any ingredients from the Centella Asiatica plant after the changes. It does not particularly soothe the skin, it has moisturizing ingredients such as panthenol, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate, but it also has Alcohol Denat as the fourth ingredient, an alcohol solvent that can dry out the skin in large quantities. As someone with sensitive combination skin, this serum gradually dried out my skin and I realized it when I stopped using it in my routine and my skin returned to normal after a few weeks. I had previously purchased the same product with a different formula and shorter shelf life, which worked very well and actually helped combat redness, which is why I decided to buy it again. La Roche Posay changed its formula but created a different product from the previous one, confusing consumers. They should at least change the name since it is no longer the same product.
The texture of the serum is sticky and the usage instructions state to wait for a minute for it to absorb before applying other products, but even so, the feeling on my skin was not pleasant.
I suppose it moisturizes, if you don't have sensitive skin, but there are much better products at a lower price.
30-year-old man with combination-oily and sensitive skin.
I bought it because I needed hydration and the previous serum I used (toleriane serum) was discontinued.
Initially, the serum is moisturizing and corrective. It has no scent at all, didn't cause any reaction or breakouts, and leaves a slightly sticky feeling that personally doesn't bother me at all.
I have been using it for about two months and I am quite satisfied because apart from the intense hydration it provides, I have seen improvement in the regeneration aspect as well. Some redness from previous acne has improved significantly, but the most important thing is that it has strengthened my skin. It has made it more resilient as it was previously vulnerable to external factors, mainly dust, which used to irritate me and cause "candles" that itched. As a result of strengthening the skin barrier, I notice that I have much fewer breakouts.
Also, I have heard from three different people so far that I have a "glow" (they have never made a similar comment before) without them knowing that I use any specific product.
Of course, I will buy it again.
