Unfortunately, after a year and a half of use, the non-stick coating on the bottom of the pot started to peel off. No strong chemicals were used for cleaning, nor wire or dishwasher. Finally, cleaning the pot becomes increasingly difficult over time.
So far everything is good, purchased 9/2024 and I also added the extra warranty. You will definitely need trays and other tools (I preferred branded ones in this category) to avoid making the bucket too dirty. Also, Rohnson offers separate parts for sale if they break, for example, a grill or an entire drawer, and that's why I preferred them as a company!
Basically, we fried potatoes that we were missing (4 family members).
We also tried chicken cut into small pieces and it turned out nice, as well as a traditional sausage once, also very good.
From seafood, we tried calamari once, but we will try again because it probably needed less flour on the calamari.
Overall, we are quite satisfied.
Very good purchase. It cooks the chicken perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, while being cooked well in a very short time. It cleans quickly and easily, while having plenty of programs. The quantity for 2 people is fine, but for more than 2, for example for a family, it is not enough.
I have not used any other air fryer, but it does everything I expected and quite well, in fact. However, I have two complaints about this specific one, which is why I give it 4 stars.
1) The bottom (which can be removed, as I will mention in my second comment) could have a better non-stick coating. Just add some oil before putting anything in it, don't worry, most of it will fall down and it won't weigh down the food. Just don't rush to remove the food afterwards.
2) The removable bottom is not locked when you put it in, it just has some silicone feet that hold it in place. So, if you turn the basket upside down and start shaking it to remove, for example, the potatoes, it might come out and burn your hand (yes, it happened). So, be careful
The best purchase of the year. Since I got it, I have used my oven very few times. I have made potatoes, steaks, calamari, all fried and they turned out delicious. I have also tried apple pie, New York cheesecake, calzone, moussaka, chicken, fried dishes.... For two or three people, the size is perfect. The internal capacity is 25 centimeters. I have bought a silicone tray so that I don't make a mess. It cooks in much less time than a pan or oven and the result is delicious.
Unbelievable, it has been very convenient for us.
Apart from being faster than the oven, it doesn't even get dirty. We have bought special papers as well as a silicone container and only these get dirty.
1st day I received it and made chicken souvlaki with potatoes.. Incredibly good grilling on the chicken and crispy and tasty potatoes... It easily cooks, I believe, for 2 people.. The device is value for money and I recommend it!
