Amazing photos day and night: enhanced with tools for creative editing, the triple camera system of the Galaxy A54 5G offers Nightography with high resolution and stabilization. The main camera relies on a 50MP sensor (1/1.56”) with larger pixel size (1.0μm) and improved optical image stabilization for vivid photos and videos. The ultra-wide camera relies on a 12MP sensor (F2.2) for stunning group photos, landscapes, and landmarks, while the macro camera with a 5MP sensor (F2.4) transforms close-up shots. With automatic transition to Night Mode, which calculates the light around the object you want to photograph.
Night shot
The improved optical image stabilization (OIS 1.5°) allows the Galaxy A54 5G to capture more details and light in low-light conditions, while also providing stable videos without shakes or light-dragging. The optical stabilizer (OIS) smooths out unintentional camera movements by physically adjusting the lens. It helps you take sharp photos even in low light or/and with long focal distances, where otherwise the shot would have been blurred.
Stability and detail in videos
The 1.6x wider OIS (1.5°) mechanically moves the image sensor in response to any shake detected on your smartphone. At the same time, the 4.2x/2.5x higher VDIS (833/500 Hz) digitally reduces the level of blur or distortion in videos that may be caused by unstable movements. Additionally, the A54 5G provides automatic frame and zoom adjustment for up to 5 people during video recording. For an overall upgraded Galaxy experience.
Camera Focus
Capture sharp shots and clips in low light with 100% All-pixel AF technology that quickly finds focus.
Long-lasting
The large 5,000 mAh battery provides power for more than two days with just one charge. This translates to up to 21 hours of video playback (actual battery life varies depending on network environment, features and apps used, and many other factors). The upgraded 25W super-fast charging replenishes 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes (the 25W super-fast charger is sold separately).
Realistic Colors
Screen for entertainment at its best: scenes with realistic colors thanks to Super AMOLED technology, realistic graphics with FHD+ resolution and, of course, edge-to-edge content with Infinity-O design. At 120Hz, the refresh rate offers incredibly smooth transitions from scene to scene without ghosting, even in fast motion, while the adaptive refresh rate maximizes battery performance with seamless switching between 60 Hz/120 Hz.
5G Speeds, Wi-Fi 6, and eSIM!
Stream your favorite content, download large files, and scroll through social media without delays with ultra-fast 5G connectivity. Want ultra-fast Wi-Fi 6 networking for quick Internet connection without interruptions? You have it. Want the option for an additional number in eSIM format? You have that too! (either two numbers on physical SIMs are allowed, or one number on eSIM and one number on physical SIM).
Updates and security for 4 generations
The Galaxy A54 5G guarantees up to 4 generations of operating system upgrades and 5 years of security updates. These features allow you to access the latest software (OneUI) and the latest security updates, extending the lifecycle of your smartphone. At the same time, you can see what you need for privacy and security in an easy dashboard, and you can hide information when sending your personal documents as a photo.
Upgraded Sound
Improved volume and bass retention, significant sound quality upgrade through the stereo speakers designed to support Dolby Atmos™ audio technology. And with Voice Focus, you get clearer voice calls and video calls, as your voice is isolated from background noise.
Recycled materials
The Galaxy A54 5G comes with recycled plastic in the side buttons and SIM tray, recycled BIO materials in the accessories, and no hazardous substances are used in any production. Its reduced-size packaging is also made from recycled paper.

An excellent smartphone, a real gem in the hand. After five years with flip phones, I decided to go for a slightly smaller screen. Result: Better feeling in the hand and screen resolution, the transition to Super Amoled is simply indescribable. The device is fast, reliable, truly beautiful, and with the best speaker I have encountered in a mobile
I had a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (from 2018) for years and had replaced an old Samsung back then. I cursed the day I switched to Xiaomi, so now that the situation has become unbearable, I returned to Samsung.
It's like night and day. Clear sound on calls, videos are finally recorded with non-distorted sound in loud environments (e.g., concerts). It has a plethora of features, and no one will be left disappointed. Plenty of security settings, such as fingerprint recognition, facial recognition (yes, it's a bit tricky to get it to work, but it does).
The battery so far lasts up to two days with my usage, and I have enabled the protection so it charges up to 85%. I paired it with a Samsung charger, the EP-T4510 that supports 45W charging, although the phone only goes up to 25W. It charges relatively quickly since I always have 50+% on the battery.
Overall, I haven't regretted it in the short time I've been using it.
EDIT: In less than 12 months, one of the two speakers broke. Unacceptable. -2 stars.
EDIT 2: About 6 months after the "loss" of one of the two speakers, a message appears that the USB/Charger port detects moisture and won't charge. With a lot of effort and tricks with rice, it starts charging very slowly. It's supposed to be water-resistant with resistance to moisture and splashes... I took the phone to Samsung's service and I'm waiting. It's under warranty. Ultimately, as models progress, the quality worsens, it's inexplicable. -1 more star.
I've had it for a year!!! It's very fast and doesn't lag anywhere! The battery drains quite quickly, that's the only negative for me... the charging is fast with the corresponding charger! Very nice photos with good resolution!!
I have had it for over 6 months and I can say that I am very satisfied. Switching from A52 4G, I have to say that it is a very good device. The battery lasts 1 day for sure with quite a bit of use, although at first it drained quickly and I was worried... eventually it stabilized over time. Photos are very good, RAM is amazing and ROM is the same. It doesn't lag anywhere and hasn't had any problems at all so far.
I've had it for almost two years, and while everything was running smoothly and I had no complaints, a few months ago the battery started to drop at a very fast rate, and for no reason. I would go to bed with the battery fully charged and the next morning it would be at 97%.
It has a very good screen and sound, but that's about it. Its camera is mediocre for the money it costs; unfortunately, you need to get a thousand-euro phone for something better. Also, its battery is poor. For surfing and watching videos, it's just fine. Additionally, its build quality is nice and simple.
Satisfactory phone with nice screen resolution and speed
Negatives: battery drains quickly, night shot photos below average, blurry
I have had it for about 1.5 years and I have no complaints except for the two negatives
Purchased for my older daughter and it was a huge leap from the Honor8 she had before. The A series is indeed the mid-range of Samsung, but especially the higher models (A52/53/54) do everything from very well to excellent. Battery life is quite good (easily lasts 1.5 days, reaches 2 with moderate use), fast everywhere, doesn't lag anywhere, very good camera, and especially the 128GB version holds everything we would want (not many movies obviously).
Considering and comparing my corporate A52 with my main S23 Ultra, I would really think 2 or 3 times about (re)spending the money for an S instead of an A, especially if I had cost as a primary factor.
I have had it since March, the downside is that it sometimes takes a while to connect to the wifi. But generally, for the money, it is very good. It’s worth it. It doesn’t freeze, it doesn’t lag. I don’t play games. I have filled it with pages etc. and it runs just fine.
Very good VFM choice for someone who wants something reliable but doesn't want to spend a fortune to get an S series phone. With extended warranty, screen protector, and case to be covered. In any case, compared to the price of the device, the money for "protection" is little.
Wasted money, in 10 months it burned out the processor resulting in it opening and closing by itself every 2 minutes, without heavy use, meaning the phone was charged once every 2 days, good camera, that's it, generally useless
I've had it for 1.5 years, came from Xiaomi, and the difference is night and day.
Amazing screen, wonderful colors, smooth 120 Hz (drops to 60 when stationary for better battery), the processor is quite powerful, the UI of Samsung is fantastic and simple.
Battery is also very good, it's a beast, I always have a charging limit at 80% and I hardly ever let it drop below 20%.
Camera is amazing, speakers are wonderful, it supports 2 Bluetooth speakers/headphones playing simultaneously.
It will get up to Android 17 and will be supported until 2028.
Awesome
* I also have a Spigen case with a camera cover on it, a good screen protector, and it feels like nothing, it's a tank. It has fallen over 20 times, sometimes I wash it under the tap, it feels nothing. It has even gone through military service.
I have been using the phone for a long time and it has been very convenient for me; it is fast, has a good camera, and for its price, I consider it value for money. So far, I have not experienced any lags despite using it demanding. The only downside is its battery, which lasts for barely 4 to 5 hours of use.
Quality phone, but I attribute its negatives to the fact that it takes a long time for updates (you wait about 5 minutes each time) and with 1-2 hours of video usage from FB or YouTube, it loses 50-60% of the battery. Personally, it works for me because I come home with 60-70% battery and rarely use it indoors, but I mention this for those who have the phone glued to their hand...
Very good for the mid-range category that it is. It has gone into a river a couple of times, has fallen about a hundred times, and has <loads> whatever virus you can find on the internet, it still lives, that's what I have to say.
What the previous reviewers said. It has shown me the issue 3 times indicating that there is moisture or dust in the charging port, while this is not the case. In fact, the 3rd time I requested a replacement because I got tired of wasting my time at Samsung service centers, and a bold company representative called me and told me that normally the damage is not covered by the warranty for the replacement of the port, meaning they were doing me a favor that in 6 months it has shown this indication 3 times without any dust or moisture ever being found. Besides the above, the phone has started to become slow, having only half of the memory covered and without demanding use. The camera is useless, the signal is mediocre, the battery dies in half a day, the fast charging is slower than death, generally a phone that I regret spending 350 euros on. Mid-range phones have died now and companies do not put quality into them, never again Samsung in general.
I threw my money in the trash.
It says that the phone has gotten moisture and I have cleaned and dried it in a thousand ways and it still says the same.
At most, it might have gotten 1 drop of water.
The worst thing really, apart from the camera, the mobile is a waste of money. After 3 months, the battery performance dropped to half a day, and in the 5th month, it burned the processor and they didn't cover it. It caused me great damage to my work and my wife's, a bunch of problems over time! Never again Samsung, completely unacceptable company
We bought 2 of these phones, perfect for the first months, everything was great and suddenly one showed a moisture warning and wouldn't charge. We took it to an irepair store for iPhone and Samsung repairs and they changed the plug, now it charges. Of course, it has shown the moisture warning again but so far it charges. After a few months, the same warning appeared on the other phone, we took it and they changed the plug, but since then it never worked again, it charges but doesn't open the data, doesn't connect to the network, shows signal but it's fake, it doesn't call, I can't be called. That's it! I had many years a Samsung phone without any problem. Unlucky purchase.
Great sound with impressive photos and for editing, what can we say!
Everything is good with it and compared to some others, it is one of the safest.
However, with all the great features it has, they haven't thought at Samsung how to make it last longer; do we really have to constantly have a charger in hand? You can't enjoy it like that.
Purchased in the summer of 2023 for my son. Incredible mobile phone. Very fast for its category, great battery life, super photos, doesn't lag...
Overall, it does what you expect from a phone purchased for around 360€.
Coming from many years of the whole family using Xiaomi phones in the 250-350€ category, it's like day and night (especially compared to the latest Xiaomi phones that are sluggish...).
I highly recommend it!
If there was a rating for the waterproofing of the phone, I would give it 100 stars !!! It fell into a drain on the road with water and it was inside for 30 minutes until the municipality came to help me (thank goodness) and just when I had given up on it .... we rinsed it and everything was working as if nothing had happened, I took it to the company for safety and they just cleaned the charging port and after a few days everything was fine ...
Samsung=guarantee. I have it for a month and I use it all day. The battery easily lasts me (I take many photos, talk on the phone, and of course use social media for work). I would like more options in photo editing but okay. For now, it is reliable.
Completely disappointed.
I bought it 8 months ago, for 380 euros, and it's not worth it at all.
The photos are washed out. If someone doesn't compare them with the same shots from another phone (Huawei, iPhone, etc.), they won't notice the difference, but it is real. It tries to create contrasts, but the colors are not warm and vibrant.
Landscapes with deep green, blue sea, sky, and green trees? All washed out. Dark shots? It takes a long time to focus, doesn't focus easily, and the result is very "noisy". Photos under red lights, colorful or twilight? It arbitrarily grays them out.
Such a shame.
Also, when I use it as a hotspot, it crashes and restarts on its own constantly.
