Once again, Xiaomi did not disappoint me. I come from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, so the difference is huge. I was a bit hesitant at first since there were no reviews here for me to have any positives and negatives before buying it. Nevertheless, I bought it and so far I have not regretted it. I received the phone on 27/3, so I cannot have a full opinion. However, I will mention some things that I liked.

1) Speakers & Dolby Atmos:
The Dolby feature is a very nice detail. It gives you the ability to activate it and choose the level while you are in the video, game, or movie. The phone has two speakers that play simultaneously. One next to the charging port and one next to the audio jack. The sound is very powerful.

2) 67W charging:
It charges quite fast and I did not expect it. I had in mind that it would charge like all other phones with 67W. I do not know what Xiaomi has done here, but it works wonders on this issue.

3) Battery:
Quite satisfactory. I worked on the phone for about 4 hours installing applications and software updates. The battery dropped significantly but not excessively. Let's assume that it dropped from 66% to 45%. So I am fully satisfied with this part.

4) Camera:
I do not have a big opinion on this issue because I do not deal with it much. Nevertheless, it is satisfactory for an average user.

5) Processor:
It is the reason why I bought the phone. Like the Redmi Note 8 Pro, this one also has a MediaTek processor. At first, I was afraid since I heard many other things, but since I bought the 8 Pro, I started to trust them. As for the MediaTek that this phone has, I cannot have an opinion since I have not used it enough. So I keep a reserve.

6) Construction:
Very sturdy. It is not one of the lightest phones, but it sits quite well in the hand. The cameras protrude significantly, but the problem is solved with the case that Xiaomi provides.

7) Call:
My interlocutor heard me very clearly without any interruption or parasites, as I heard him. The speaker is quite loud, resulting in the interlocutor being heard very well by those around you.

For now, that's all I have to say. I will come back as soon as I have news. For starters, the phone covers me 100% for the use I make of it. However, it will show over time.

  I see all these negative comments and I can't believe it. I don't know what the problem is, but I have exactly the opposite opinion. It's the best phone I've ever had. First of all, it has an amazing screen, among the best cameras and videos as well. It hasn't frozen even once. Not once has it done anything weird, no overheating, no app freezing, nothing ever.
  The battery lasts a day with moderate to heavy use. However, it charges incredibly fast, and that's very convenient.
  Aesthetically, it's a wonderful phone, premium category. Well done, Xiaomi.

  Honest phone, I haven't encountered issues with the network card. It is not a flagship competitor in any way, but for its price, it is a good phone. The most significant negative is that its battery does not have the same power as the Redmi Note 9 Pro, for example, but it is reasonable when you consider all the extra features it has and the more powerful screen that requires a bit more power.   Second and last time I shop from this garbage Chinese company. Only Realme and Motorola. I bought it because it has a good camera for the money I spent, but overall it's trash with the issues it has. Let's see. The battery gets stuck at some point during charging and doesn't charge. The signal drops, resulting in interrupted calls, people can't call me, and calls come to me later as messages, and it cuts off my data when I surf. While the phone generally runs fast, at some point when I play games, it starts to lag out of nowhere. The keyboard keeps disappearing the English language, so every time I want to write in English letters, I have to adjust it, and after a short time, it disappears again and writes in Greek while I have English selected. One more time I bought from this specific company, and with a simple drop from a bench, the whole screen broke, and generally, the software is bad. I am to blame, though, for not going for Motorola and Realme, which had treated me well, and instead went for the junk Xiaomi just for the camera.

  2 main problems for which I regret the purchase.

  First, the battery drains in 4 hours if you use it (I'm not talking about games, I mean phone calls, browsing, etc.) which for me, as my job involves a lot of phone use, makes the phone useless.

  Second, it has no signal at all; the area where I live is generally problematic, but I've never had such a big issue, dropping calls while I'm talking to a client as if I entered the subway, or not getting any signal at all while other phones with the same carrier do.

  Overall, I made a completely wrong purchase; the phone runs well and has a good camera, etc., but these 2 important functions are worthless.

  Purchased in September 2023, within less than a month it started losing signal, calls were coming as messages, etc. I put the SIM card in my old phone and due to negligence, the phone went for service in January. They changed the charging board and there was no discussion about replacement. Again, due to negligence, I started using it in March where within a week it did the same thing again. I was slow to take it to service because I didn't want to go through the same process. I finally took it in July where they changed the charging board again, and sent it back to us in a package. Now I started using it immediately and in less than 1 week it ended up in service once again. Once again, they did not contact me, even though I requested it. The phone comes back repaired again. I hope I didn't throw 220€ in the trash and that it will be replaced

  I am writing this review after a year of owning the mobile phone. At first, I was very excited and satisfied with everything, but what I have noticed for the past month is that it starts to freeze for no reason, even though I clean it every day, close applications, and take good care of it in general. And most importantly, it has STOPPED HAVING A GOOD INTERNET CONNECTION! WHEREVER I GO, IT CONNECTS FOR 5-10 MINUTES AND THEN IT DOESN'T HAVE WIFI!!! I am using data all day, which sometimes also freezes terribly! (It's not the network's fault, I have spoken to people about it.) I am extremely disappointed, I bought it for 300€, I have had it for a year and the problems have already started. I didn't expect it to be an iPhone, but it shouldn't have trouble connecting to the internet, which is the most important thing on a mobile phone, whether for communication or work information! But 300€ is not a small amount, let's not go crazy! Extremely disappointed, wasted money. Back to searching for a new mobile phone and this one will be recycled, I won't even give it away.

  6 months purchased and in use unfortunately it developed a problem with the signal. I had two SIM cards inside and constantly one of them would lose signal and the whole phone would lag. Even after fixing the SIM, the same problem continued and now it's happening with the second SIM card as well. With mobile data on, suddenly it loses signal and disconnects. It's a shame, it's not worth the 230€.

  I got it in August, awesome phone, worth its money, now it's free, I've had it for 7 months with a lot of use and it has never stuck.. extremely fast, charges in 45 minutes and with a lot of use it lasts a day and a half, what else do you want, otherwise 2 days. Amazing performance in photos and videos, also perfect colors on the screen with a Samsung equivalent in its category which is more expensive. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is much better, this one is the best in its category

Chrome rarely lags, but in my opinion, it shouldn't at all. Various other apps like Spotify freeze occasionally. The phone is a pro version and costs around two and a half hundred, so it shouldn't lag. The photos are average, and the videos are mediocre to bad. The battery is satisfactory.   I come from the xiaomi redmi note 11 which was satisfactory for its price. We have and we say. It is a powerful mobile (6/128gb) with a 120hz screen, making the user experience excellent in social and video. The mediatek deminsity 1080 works perfectly with this screen, as it almost never lags. As for the screen, it is an OLED panel with beautiful colors and as mentioned before, it is 120hz (in other words, smooth mobile usage). Let's talk about the camera, which for young people (like me) is the alpha and omega for a mobile! I have no words! The Sony lens is excellent as we find the same lens in higher-priced mobiles. The stabilization is satisfactory for its price. The ultra-wide-angle camera is a simple camera, simply adding this feature, in other words, it is not something impressive. The selfie did not disappoint as much, but do not expect iPhone 12 quality, etc. The battery is extremely disappointing.... It may be 5000mAh, but the 120hz screen consumes it like milk. Something can be done if you turn off the always-on display and switch from 120hz to 60hz... If you don't want to do that and use the mobile for 8 hours a day, it would be good to charge it in the middle of the day to be sure.

  In summary:

  Pros: Camera, processor, screen

  Cons: Battery, temperature

  Edit 26/5/24: The mobile overheats when charging and being used. This is a big flaw from me.

  Edit 2/7/24: It is related to overheating. I consider it unacceptable for a mobile to automatically lower the brightness, especially in the sun, because it has overheated and is literally hot, and many times it is difficult to use. iPhones, which are known for overheating in the summer, are usually cooler (my sister uses a refurbished iPhone 11 for all-day use). Also, now that it overheats, the screen automatically drops to 60hz even though I don't have automatic adjustment, and it constantly freezes.

  Good battery with relatively fast charging, good camera even in night shots for its price. The only negative so far for the money I paid (about €230) is its large size.
  Update 12-12-2024
  After a while (about 3 months) of use, disconnections from the network all the time (affecting voice and data) even with SIM replacement and changing their positions.
  Unacceptable call quality with continuous interruptions during calls.
  Factory reset was tried countless times.
  Software is unacceptable, full of ads, very poor UI, a cheap copy of iOS, and even worse stability when updated to Hyper OS

  I come from the owner of Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, which was a perfect phone for me and worth the money. Before this, I had the Redmi 6, which also justified its cost. After a quick decision as a former owner of Redmi 6, I bought this Note 12 Pro. From the beginning, the phone had call interruptions, and within less than a month of use, it suddenly stopped charging without even completing 10 charges (using the original charger). Then I sent it back for service, where they replaced the battery board (not the whole phone). However, when it arrived back after a few days, it started doing the same thing, with the added issue of a burnt smell during charging. The battery is mediocre at best and doesn't last long during regular use. I returned the product to get my money back and bought the Xiaomi Poco X5 (it's still too early to tell). I do not recommend this phone (Redmi Note 12) as even the simplest use (making calls) is not good... The only good things were its design, which is like a mirror, and its camera.

  I have had it for 2 months now and I can't say that I am satisfied. I find my previous phone, Redmi Note 8 Pro, to be much better. Although this one has more storage space, a better processor, and is generally superior technologically, I notice that it lags and the camera as well as the applications lag, even with very light usage, while they are always updated with the latest upgrades. I have had to restart it countless times and we are talking about a brand new phone. If it does this now, what will happen over time? The battery charges very quickly, but its durability is not that great. For the same price, I might have preferred to get a different model.

  Two years ago I bought the poco x3 pro for 250 euros, today after 2 years updates have stopped and I decide to go for the top of the line for the money, the 12 note pro....
