  Good motherboard. It would be nice if it had more than one fan header. Of course, it doesn't come with the screws to mount it in the case. These screws are always provided with the case and not by the motherboard.

  Initially I had given 5 stars but I am coming back and removing one star and I will explain the reason below. For simple use, the motherboard is great. I have had it for a year and it is very reliable, I have it with a Ryzen 7 5700x, 32GB 3600 Kingston Fury RAM, 16GB 4060ti Gigabyte GPU. I don't play games, just simple use. No need for a BIOS update. Okay, it only has 1 fan header but personally it doesn't bother me. It doesn't have screws but I knew that because other 4 Gigabyte motherboards I have didn't have them either and I bought screws and standoffs separately. The reason I removed one star is as another friend mentioned, the temperatures on the VRM. With the 5700X there is absolutely no problem. However, a few days ago I tried the 5950X. While it also runs without a BIOS update, under full load I had throttling due to high temperatures on the VRM. So 4 stars because it is a reliable motherboard, and I don't expect a 90€ motherboard to run a 16-core processor without problems. Someone who has higher demands from their PC and a powerful processor should go for a more expensive option, with better VRM. I didn't consider it important until I looked into it because I was concerned that the processor couldn't run properly and the answer was the temperatures on the VRM.

  The motherboard is unacceptable. The VRM temperatures are excessively high, reaching up to 110 easily, and it underclocks the processor in order to continue its operation.
  I should note that I am using liquid cooling with extra cooling for the VRMs!!
  Unacceptable product. I made a mistake trusting Gigabyte, and I should have spent a little extra money for an MSI or ASUS!

  Really, unacceptable in gigabyte the motherboard is B550 and cannot comfortably handle the R5 5600 in games, it reaches 95-100C in VRM temperatures and lowers the frequency.

  The motherboard has only 1 fan header.... a motherboard from 2023 costing 96 euros has ONE fan header. Even though the site says it has 2, do they count the CPU fan header??. As if it’s not obvious that the CPU would have a fan header. Anyway, never again Gigabyte, the company is ridiculous.

  With the morning, I remove one star as it has only one fan header + one for the CPU fan even though Gigabyte counts them as two fan headers on their site (misinformation). The only reason I didn't go for the Gigabyte B550 DS3H was the extra 10 euros and now I will have to spend it on a fan hub (or 18-20 euros to buy 2 more Arctic Bionix fans that will be connected in series with the other 4 I already have).

  Otherwise, very good quality construction for such a cheap B550. The system set up is as follows:
  • Case: CoolerMaster MasterBox Q300L Mini Tower Retro
  • Motherboard: Micro ATX Gigabyte B550M K
  • PSU: Be Quiet Pure Power 11 500W Full Wired 80 Plus Gold (upgrade)
  • RAM: G.Skill Aegis DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3200Mhz (upgrade)
  • Storage: Kingston NV2 250GB
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G (upgrade)
  • WiFi/Bluetooth Card: Gigabyte GC-WBAX200

  Update (7/3/2023 - 1 month of use): I did a BIOS update to the latest version FC. Everything is fine without any problems. The computer starts slightly faster, like 2-3 seconds, but it might be just my idea. In case you encounter problems with memory or processor, it would be good for your first step to be this before looking elsewhere. Many times this process has saved me and now I did it because I had enough free time.

  I was a little worried because I couldn't find much information online about this motherboard.
