Excellent monitor. I use it for office applications and a bit of video editing, Clear image, comfortable fantastic colors. I don't see a huge difference with a similar one for €600 really. From Gaming connected to Ps5, I will say one thing. FANTASTIC. With the PC, I play LoL and some arcade games and it is super, no comparison with the 27' 2K 165hz. Now in games like CoD or Forza Horizon, I don't think this monitor was ever designed for that from the start.
It's amazing that with the money it asks for, you can get such a monitor, very comfortable, with natural colors. It is suitable for all uses. Its negatives are that gsync does not work properly, you enjoy it better with an AMD card. With Nvidia, it shows that it is not compatible, yet you click on gsync but it does not always work. As an ips panel, it suffers from backlight bleed but it is at normal levels. Also, those of you who play FPS games forget about it, it's fine for other types of games. Even with 1080 resolution, it looks great. Because I have had many monitors pass through my hands, I have concluded that monitors with 1080 resolution are the best choice, beyond that if someone wants more inches and resolution, it is better to go for 4k, 1440 is the most pointless resolution and does not offer anything substantial.
I bought 2 identical monitors on 18/10/23 for €228. After three days, one of them displayed a two-point line from the top to the bottom of the screen. Samsung came and picked it up from my place on 24/10 and sent it to an external technician since Samsung doesn't have its own service. After countless attempts to reach them, I sent an email and they replied that they would call me. They told me that it needs a panel and they ordered a replacement. Possible repair date is 07/11. My previous LG monitors have been working flawlessly since 2009. Can we assume a hardware failure? Unacceptable experience and service. They also informed me that the screen is not an official Samsung import.
Update: I received a message on 06/11/23 that the screen has been delivered (to whom I wonder). On 07/11/23, the car that picked up the screen came to my company without any notification and delivered the screen to someone else since I was absent. In another company's case, I might not have found the screen. I had kept the boxes and when it broke, I transferred it inside its box for safety. They picked it up with a truck that had compartments in the back with bubble wrap (similar to glass installers' vehicles) and they delivered it to me wrapped in a membrane, so any buyer could have caused damage during transportation. 2.5 weeks until the repair. Small details that, in total, create a bad and unacceptable experience. Video of the problem and a photo of how it was delivered are attached.
