The intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran receives a distress signal from a wrecked frigate in orbit around the planet Tallon IV. Upon investigation, the frigate is revealed to be a space pirate research vessel hosting terrifying genetic experiments using the mysterious substance Phazon.
There, Samus encounters the enemy, Meta Ridley, whom she pursues to the surface of Tallon IV. It is up to her alone to explore the interconnected areas of the planet, investigate its dark secrets, and put an end to the intergalactic threat posed by Phazon.
Enjoy this critically acclaimed first-person adventure like never before with updated visuals, sound, controls, and much more.

Really good shooter. Unlike the nonsense like Fortnite that kids are playing now who have no idea about good video games.
I don't have many words to say about the quality of this specific title, especially at 35 euros. The game was game of the year when it was first released 20 years ago, and its timeless value only increases with this remaster (almost a remake). Not only does it still "hold up," but with the upgrade to its controls, it truly feels like a modern FPS. However, it's not just an FPS. It has a first-person perspective, but essentially it's an action adventure with a focus on exploration and environmental puzzles. Even for experienced gamers, the difficulty level is very satisfying. The music is stunning and enhances the feeling of isolation and space exploration, despite the fact that the game world is anything but empty. The major downside is that it has very little replayability value, as the backtracking is very tiresome for a second playthrough. In my opinion, it is a landmark title and this edition is ideal for both old and new players.
First time playing the Remastered, I hadn't played the old one. In terms of graphics, it is flawless for the Switch's standards and it also runs at a smooth 60 fps. As for gameplay, aside from getting lost quite often on the map due to its many different levels, sometimes resembling a labyrinth, and the fact that mobs respawn shortly after being killed, requiring you to kill them again and again when passing through the same areas (which happens quite frequently as you need to explore the entire map), the game is top-notch. The bosses have nice mechanics and become increasingly difficult as you progress towards the end. It doesn't get boring easily, and personally, it took me 30 hours to finish it. Now, if someone wants to complete it 100%, it will take more time. For the price of 36 euros it currently costs, you can get it blindly.
Great game, I used to play it when I was in high school and it was released on the GameCube. Very good remake, with nice graphics that showcase the capabilities of the Switch (although the next Switch should come out gradually), it seemed a bit easier compared to when I played it as a kid, but back then I had a different experience with video games. It's a classic and a must-play.
I remember 2003, holding the mini cd box for GameCube, wondering if it would be good. What does Nintendo want now, messing with a title that has become a legend? Why experiment and make a 2D game into a 3D first person? When I played and finished it, the Metroid Prime series was at the top of my personal gaming list. Now I've finished the remastered version. Amazing graphics, many things that weren't clear before now shine. Fantastic puzzles, the mechanics have reached another level from the 2D Metroid. Locked at 60fps. Very good atmospheric music that fits with the whole environment. For those who have played it, I recommend playing it again, the work done is so good that it feels like a new experience. For those who have never played it, I just envy them. Here we have the following paradox, the perfect has become even better.
It's one of the best games I've played. After Dread, I decided to try out Prime which I hadn't played before. Anyone who owns a Switch should get it. The graphics are incredible and locked at 60fps.
A big fan of metroidvania games. Of course, Metroid is my favorite game, but I got it and thought, okay, I played it over 10 years ago. But I really got hooked, both figuratively and literally, it's a really good game.
A pure metroidvania with awesome graphics and you really get lost in a world and have to find the solutions yourself. Forget the tips and handholding. Metroid Prime throws you into a world and as Samus, you have to survive.

On the negatives, I would say that the map has not been updated to intervene with markers like in Metroid Dread. So you forget or miss where you need to go or what you left out. Otherwise, it's a must-buy title.
The game is epic. The graphics are awesome and locked at 60 fps. The world is very nice. It's not a classic fps, it's a regular metroid with exploration. Get another gem for this little weak console.
First of all, I should say that I am a casual gamer. I mainly play games for their story and less for their gameplay.
Metroid Prime Remastered is the first Metroid game I have played and my feelings about it are mixed. I tried to love it, really tried, but I couldn't. The story is almost non-existent (no cutscenes, no dialogue), and the gameplay is outdated, showing that it is a game from 20 years ago. I tried to play it with a walkthrough from the internet, but I couldn't make it. I gave up halfway through. However, in terms of graphics and sound, it is good.
I wouldn't particularly recommend it though.
The game doesn't take you by the hand and lead you, but you have to learn to work the mechanisms and your mind to move forward. It's a gem with addictive gameplay and perfect background music, you truly get lost in its world.
best remastered ever. so much attention to detail.
