The strap for the money is perfect. The magnet is quite strong. I wore it to the gym as well. Just keep in mind that it catches on sweaters at the edges and pulls the fabric over it. It's slightly prickly, meaning it doesn't bother the skin because it's on the side, it's just a little annoying.

Update months later: the 1 clip comes out of its position where it attaches to the watch if you make sudden or intense movements. It's a little stressful because the watch could fall off and you might not notice
