LED operating technology offers greater brightness and visibility compared to halogen and Xenon lamps. They are also more durable than halogen lamps and have a higher cost than halogen and Xenon. However, they have an even longer lifespan, which can reach up to 30,000 hours.
They can be connected to a CAN Bus system. This system monitors the consumption of the lamp and recognizes whether it is burnt out or not, sending indications to the dashboard. Before choosing lamps for your vehicle, it is recommended to consult its manual for the minimum consumption required in order to avoid damaging the CAN Bus system.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
They were installed in a golf 7. So the bulbs are plug and play. You remove the old ones, put in the new ones, and they work without any errors, without anything. As for the installation in this specific car, I spent about 40 minutes on the driver's side light and ended up taking out the light and changing it at my own pace... it would have been better if they had a handle on the back to help with the fitting. The color is very good, I believe it is truly 6500K. Now, in terms of brightness, I can't say that my jaw dropped. Obviously, they are much brighter than halogen bulbs, but it is an okay result. P.S. on the passenger's side light, it was installed in a minute. Just so you know, in this particular car, the middle driver's side light will give you a hard time, all the other bulbs take 1-2 minutes each.
Although the store told me that they are not suitable for Golf VI, I bought them at my own risk and they fit in the box. They have a small cable that you don't connect anywhere, it's just the canbus that you insert into the headlight. On the driver's side, it gave me a little trouble because it doesn't have enough space due to the fuse box. I don't have any interference on the radio and no indicator lights up on the dashboard
