The BM-800 is a professional-grade condenser microphone for voice recording. It features a unidirectional polar diaphragm and is ideal for recording and broadcasting applications. It comes with a 3-meter microphone cable, windscreen, and shock mount.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The ultimate Value For Money!!! I have conducted tests:
- From XLR to jack on the computer, it performs well but has a bit of noise (with the Onboard Realtek).
- With an external sound card and Phantom Power, the quality is perfect (clean highs and less noise).
- From XLR to jack on the DSLR (I have Nikon D3300), it performs very well (Gain 7/20).
- From XLR to jack with an adapter from TRRS to TRS on the Smartphone (I have Huawei P9), it performs very well but you shouldn't be too close to the microphone because it distorts a bit.
It constantly makes noise and is very sensitive, the card inside was somewhere around 2 centimeters (that was the problem) and I saw on YouTube that many people receive them like this and it doesn't work well, for me the 3 times I asked for the same thing it was... not good
It is a very good microphone that I highly recommend to people who want to record or use it for live performances with a good console to sound good and a sound card. The console and sound card are necessary anyway, whether at home or in the studio, to have a nice sound
Perfect with crystal clear sound. But definitely need phantom power and xlr connection. I recommend it 1000% for any use.
The microphone for voice recording for YouTube videos is very good and well-made. It has amazing quality for its price, but it definitely needs a phantom power (which is also available for €8) because it makes some noise if you simply have it plugged into the motherboard.
Really value for money! On the Behringer Xenyx USB, with XLR to XLR and phantom power, it performs very well and almost without noise, on par with two other much more expensive condenser microphones that I have. I haven't tried it on the PC's "sound card". On a V8 Sound Card, it is barely audible, it requires phantom power.
For streaming, it is a good purchase with satisfactory sound even without a sound card. For higher quality recordings, music, etc., I do not know.
Obviously it is not a large diaphragm and it is a value choice. What it is supposed to do, it does perfectly for its price. Some DIY improvements can be made, but personally I did not need them.
I had bought it for 30 euros + a mixer. The mixer was not necessarily needed because now I have it connected to the computer without a sound card or anything. I use it for recordings, speech on discord, skype, and such, and it's perfect. It is very good and I highly recommend it.
Having experience only with dynamic microphones so far, I can say that it fully satisfies me. The microphone is definitely worth its money. I use it for amateur voice and guitar recordings. I connect it directly to the Mini jack input of the sound card that the motherboard has, and it does the job beautifully. Certainly, new sound cards also include preamplifiers, so if someone encounters any issue, it can be easily solved by boosting the microphone a little from the sound card. For anyone who wants to have decent sound recording with a small budget (demos, entry voice overs, instrument recording, etc.), this microphone is the solution. Don't forget to get a support stand for even better sound recording.
If you want something that works better than any headset or microphone (priced under 150€), run!
If you want 100% of the Mic for "more serious use" (e.g. Streaming / Youtube), it's better to combine it with an XLR sound card, such as the Behringer U-Phoria UM2.
If you want something Plug n Play with better sound but without the expense of a sound card and multiple cables, go for the Razer Seiren Mini.
Of course, even with an XLR to Audio Jack, if the sound card on your PC is not bad, you will still do a good job, even temporarily. (Unfortunately, very often, Audio Jack Mics sound very bad not because the Mic itself is bad, but because the sound card is low quality).
If you want very simple use, like just talking on Discord / Skype, I recommend the BM700. Cheaper and more suitable for this use.
I bought it for recording strings and the vocal quality is excellent and tangible compared to others at the same price. I used it without an external sound card and it was pretty good, but when I plugged it into the sound card, it exceeded all my expectations.
I don't think there is anything better for its price. It will definitely perform better with an external sound card, but even with a simple connection to the motherboard, it produces very clear sound. It's just what you need, especially during quarantine, for teleconferences
I have had it for three years now and it has really served me well. The first year, with a simple USB sound card that cost about 6-7 euros, it did its job satisfactorily (although with a little noise). Now I have been using it for two years with the Focusrite Scarlett Solo audio interface and it is truly flawless. I use it for both recordings and singing, as well as recording acoustic instruments. With a pop filter and a sound card, it can be compared to much more expensive microphones. The only complaint is that it is of very cheap construction, so it is not particularly durable. Therefore, it requires a lot of attention.
Very good microphone, but it needs a Higo gaming decoder to have better sound. Apart from that, it's worth its money
Excellent microphone. I have been using it for almost a year and a half for recordings I make at home. The sound quality has been maintained, as well as the construction of the microphone. Very sturdy construction. I would recommend it to any beginner musician getting into sound recording.

Definitely value for money, for an entry-level product that I needed to add comments to PowerPoint presentations, it does the job just fine. Just be careful because it captures all the sounds along with the speech, which is normal for this type of microphone.
I have had the microphone for a month. I use it for recordings, I have paired it with the Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 sound card and the sound is crystal clear. It does require phantom power, I have used it without phantom power but the sound is not as clean for recording. It has a very good and sturdy construction, I will determine its durability over time. Overall, for someone who wants a cheap and decent microphone, this should be in their options.
Guys, good microphone for its price (ordered from abroad, around 12 euros). It would be good to get the Full Pack to have the stands and the Pop Filter. It connects immediately to the computer (my motherboard supported it perfectly). Good continuation!
This microphone is a miracle! With or without phantom power (better with), it has a wonderful and warm sound!!! Metal construction! It has fallen down and still works like new (not that I recommend dropping it)! It may look Chinese but it's worth it! At least when I bought it, because now Behringer has dropped its prices! I would definitely buy Behringer (you know what you're getting)! I've had it for about a year and with proper care, it works like new! I've done recordings with it and I'm amazed! It's my first condenser microphone and I will definitely get a more expensive one! However, I believe that the OEM BM-800 (still 30€ since I bought it) and the OEM BM-700 (now 20€) are worth it blindly! Thank you for your time!!!
It just needs an amplifier, but with a program I found, it's complete. I use it for YouTube
It is the best for someone who wants to start making videos on YouTube and live streaming on Twitch. Especially if you have phantom power, the microphone reaches Behringer C1-U quality. Even without phantom power, it is still very good. I should note that without phantom power, it may have a little background noise, but that can be easily cut out.
Very good, the only problem it has is that in some programs the sound is super low (It may also be the program I am using).
I have them, watch the video I am doing a review before you get it.

7 years of use, ladies and gentlemen!! No complaints. A €15 microphone to have fun, beautify your desk, or pretend to be a YouTuber is just what you need. The 3.5mm Audio Jack may be a disadvantage, but no complaints. Value for money
Excellent especially since it has such a cost, only it requires phantom power but still even if it has a small disadvantage it is easy to remove in processing
Perfect hello for the price, perfect hello Skype and video on YouTube, incredible sound resolution and the price unbelievably perfect hello for gamers like me. The only downside is that it needs a filter
