Bluetooth Calling and Audio Playback

This Kenwood unit is equipped with built-in Bluetooth technology so you can make and receive calls. With the press of a button, you can switch between two phones.

Up to 5 Bluetooth devices can be connected simultaneously to the main unit. You can play music simply by switching devices between your friends and family.

The unit supports voice commands, allowing you to perform actions without touching your phone. You can initiate calls, play music, or perform other tasks simply by speaking voice commands and keeping your hands on the wheel where they belong while focusing on the road ahead.

Smartphone Control - Kenwood Remote

This free app can display the information of the audio system, via Bluetooth connection, on the screen of the paired smartphone (iPhone or Android). With Innovative Gesture Control you can perform basic commands, such as pause, skip, or repeat simply by touching the screen of the smartphone without looking at your phone while driving.

Digital Time Alignment

It allows you to digitally delay the nearest speakers so that the sound from each speaker reaches your ears simultaneously. It makes the sound move to the front top of the dashboard for the best stereo experience.

13-Band Equalizer

In preset mode, you can choose one of the predefined equalizer curves. Select User Mode to adjust the front and rear channels separately according to your preferences and compensate for the tonal differences between the front and rear speakers that arise from the installation position and size. The result is a natural sound reproduction environment and an enhanced listening experience for you.

Driver Equalizer

Road noise is the enemy of all audio systems in vehicles, as it covers a wide range of the music's audio signal, and this is why Kenwood engineers developed Drive EQ.

Drive EQ boosts specific frequencies in the audio signal to compensate for the negative effects of road noise.

USB & AUX ports right in front for added convenience

AUX input for connecting a portable audio player. The USB input will allow you to charge and control the music playback of your selected devices, such as smartphones and USB sticks. To prevent dust, a cover for the socket has also been adopted.

Higher contrast and wider viewing angle

The vertical alignment screen improves the performance of the LCD with higher contrast and a wider viewing angle under any lighting conditions, including direct sunlight. Also, the narrower gap between the LCD and the front glass makes the appearance more attractive.

Very, very good source, a store owner friend recommended it to me because the Pioneer sources I had did not satisfy me.

As a source, it is just right for someone who wants to install amplifiers and heavily upgrade their sound; I have this one connected to 3 amplifiers, one for the speakers, one for the horns in the doors, and one for the bass in the back (These are powerful with the use of a 3-Way Crossover where the 3 pairs of RCA outputs at the back can be adjusted separately for each frequency range, read the manual), DSP although I would have gotten one, I saw that it has DTA settings, I have adjusted them and saved myself the DSP, get it with your eyes closed!

In terms of volume, it always depends on the amplifiers (if you have any), I have set everything with DD1+, the 40Hz distorts at 32 (4.2V) and the 1KHz at 34 (1.7V) (These may vary with revisions of the source).

I will answer any questions from people who might be interested in getting it.

ALSO! I see that there is incorrect information on Skroutz, I don't know why, the mistakes I see are:

Operating System: It is not Android since it is a 1-Din source.

Detachable Front: Yes, with the button located on the bottom left of the source (It is not clearly visible in the photos, but it exists).

GPS: No, because again it is a 1-Din source.

Built-in Wi-Fi / 3G: No, because again it is a 1-Din source.

AUX: Yes, it is located under the protective cover where the USB is.

4G: No, because again it is a 1-Din source.

UPDATE: As of 04/24/2024, it has been installed in a new car with the same amplifiers, bass, horns, speakers, just with a high-output alternator, it still works perfectly, delivering incredible sound!
