With the new weighted straw training cup, your baby can hold it like a bottle and drink from the straw at any angle of tilt.
Thanks to the snap-on lid and Click Lock function, the cup is ideal for use everywhere.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Good product and ideal for very young children to transition from bottles. The straw doesn't leak and doesn't lose liquid anywhere IF you close it properly!! It can withstand rough handling. If the child already knows how to drink from a straw, I would not recommend buying it because the logic is probably that you press the straw with your tongue against the palate and then suck (sucking) so for everyone else who has moved on from this stage, it is a torture to suck and it is also not educationally correct for an older child to learn this way (again).
It is a good cup. And it works with any tilt, even if the child holds it because it has a small weight at the end of the straw. It is also durable. However... The straw is very narrow and it also has a valve to prevent water from running, making it very difficult for the child to sip. I struggled with it here. Also, cleaning the straw is very difficult due to how narrow it is. I would not buy it again.
4 stars because one of the two I bought leaks water in a short period of time. Overall, they are very good and the child accepted them right away. There is a lid that closes and covers the straw, which is convenient for outings. They are a bit difficult to clean. I would buy again.
It helped us a lot with a breastfeeding baby; he learned it right away. He keeps throwing it down, and so far it hasn't been damaged.
Nice water bottle, especially for a breastfeeding baby. The straw is a bit difficult to clean until you figure out the trick. Unfortunately, after a few days the lid broke, so I can no longer take it outside.
The best little cup for our babies. Generally, everything I have bought from this company is perfect. It is for a small baby 6-12 months old, I would say, because it doesn't hold a lot of water, but it doesn't bother me at all that I have to change it because anyway after 6 months of continuous use, I get disgusted to keep it any longer. I don't have many, I have this one and that's it, maybe an open cup for when he eats his food. I got it for my first child, then I changed it for the same company and got a bigger thermos, and now for the second one, I will do the same. I also have plates, cutlery, balls, plate sets, and everything from this company. I wouldn't change it
My baby picked it up in a day ! the cap makes it very convenient to carry around on trips and we've never had any spills
The baby (11 months old) accepted it immediately to drink, the only difficulty is with the lid not opening as it should and getting blocked by the straw, resulting in having to unbutton it and put it back on.
Personally, it worked very well for us. Our little one has it next to him and drinks whenever and as much as he wants without any problem or leaks. It didn't take much effort for the baby to accept it. Overall, Munchkin has not disappointed us in any of its products.
Very good cup! We have been using it since 7 months because from 6 months and onwards we experimented with many companies and straws... In the end, this one worked for us in everything. For breastfeeding babies, it is perfect as it has this valve which some people who do not know, think that it makes it difficult for the baby but it simply helps in the transition from breastfeeding or bottle to straw. The sucking motion is exactly what it does to drink from this straw :). We still use it after one year, it doesn't smell, it cleans easily and when closed properly, it doesn't leak! I don't have an opinion on other liquids and milk from experience but I believe that it should be disassembled to be properly cleaned!
Perfect water cup. From 6 months old, he learned to drink water from it effortlessly. I showed him once how to sip, and he immediately did it
While its weight is very good, meaning that no matter the angle the baby has it, the pacifier is almost always in contact with water but it has many leaks. Not from the pacifier but where the top part screws onto the cup.
They haven't included the classic rubber that you find in all products that transport liquids.
I have bought 3 and all 3 leak.
Also, if you put something other than water, it doesn't clean easily.
I wouldn't buy the same one again.
After 1 year of use, I will say that it is not worth it at all. It sucks the straw with great difficulty. We cut it at the "safety" point so that it can be drunk normally. You wash it every day and it still smells bad... The lid came off from the first week and we used it without... Prefer something else.
The baby learned to drink water with a straw at almost 7 months. The cup cleans easily if you only put water in it and it doesn't smell.
Two children learned from the first time to suck on the 6-month straw. Also, the low flow helped them to completely cut the bottle at 9 months
Very good, it never leaks no matter how much it falls, but I have had it for 3 months and the straw got punctured from biting it
We bought it when it was 6 months old but it couldn't drink. We tried it again at 13 months and now it drinks normally
Very good cup! It immediately learned to drink with the straw! It doesn't leak.
Better only for water, not other juices because it's difficult to clean from other juices
We have introduced it to the child from the beginning when he started drinking water, around the 7th month he managed and started drinking. Babies can suck on it since they know how to do it from breastfeeding movements, so it doesn't matter if adults can't handle it. It is easy to clean with a brush for straws. The negatives are that if the silicone plug inside comes off, the water runs continuously and if you have it in your bag, you're in trouble. Also, the lid broke for us after 7 months of daily misuse and repeated falls, something that should have been anticipated in my opinion. I don't know if I would buy it again. I would probably invest in something more durable like a klean kanteen. Anyway, the baby really likes it and drinks a lot of water with it.
Very sturdy and high-quality! It never leaks! And the most important thing is that our baby loved it. And he drinks very comfortably from the first moment he used it.
After trying it with a regular adult straw, I realized that babies (6.5 months old) need a baby straw. They adapted to it immediately and now they drink normally with minimal practice. They hold it easily, it just doesn't need much filling because it becomes heavy. The weight works fine and serves its purpose. Be careful with washing. It would be good to use it only for water because it is difficult to clean the straw, even though they provide a special brush in the package.
WARNING for those adults who tried it and say it doesn't suck: it is not made for us but for babies who, if they suck and take a sip like ours, they choke!
Very good cup. The baby learned to use it in a week and a half. For now, he only drinks water from it. It doesn't leak. It doesn't break. The straw doesn't get dirty if it falls and the lid is closed. It's a bit of a hassle to clean.
While I tried it and it seemed difficult to drink, my son (8 months old) managed to drink it straight with the straw. One minus star, because it is a bit troublesome to clean. We use it exclusively for water.
The best! My child has been using it from 7 months old until today, at 14 months, and loves it! Drinks water and milk very easily. The positive thing is that it has a lid so if it falls down or on walks the straw is protected. Also, it does not leak at all!
It takes a lot of power to suck the child, I bought it for him to learn the straw but from this one neither can I suck. What a pity the purchase..
It is an amazing product. The child immediately adapted to it when transitioning from the bottle. We only used it for water, of course, to make cleaning the straw easier. The accompanying brush is very helpful in cleaning its parts. The best part is that the child can drink in any position and it doesn't spill a single drop. It is also very durable as it has been dropped countless times without any damage. I highly recommend it.
Very good cup, no water leaks, withstands falls, and the weight on the straw is very clever! It's worth its money.
Within 8 months, the straw has broken twice! The company should sell them separately so that one doesn't have to buy the whole cup again!
Amazing cup I bought and got a second one, but unfortunately after two or three months of use, it starts leaking when tilted, while at first it didn't
Very useful, it taught this child to drink with a straw. He drinks his water with this every day. I lost the first one on the way and bought the same one again!
It requires excessive force to suck the child from the straw, I tried to "open" it, in the end I cut it and it was able to suck the child. But by cutting it, water would leak when, for example, the child turned it upside down, so I threw it away completely.
In the positives, it is extremely lightweight and the weight makes it easy to swallow all the contents. In the negatives, it leaks if not closed properly and generally leaks if the child turns it upside down. It is not ideal for very young ages who shake and throw objects.
