  Well, the game, apart from the amazing graphics and gameplay, is essentially an inferior Remaster of the original. When we say REMAKE, we mean exactly that, that we are making it from scratch and not just copying and pasting the old and even making a poor quality copy. REMAKE was the Resident Evil 1 on Gamecube, which besides having great graphics for its time, had extra storyline, extra areas, and extra dialogues. The dialogues and cut scenes in the 4 Remake were laughable compared to the original, as if they were written by a child. They made Leon serious and completely cold, just like Ada (and you would think that Ada was like that anyway), and they almost completely eliminated any trace of flirtation from Ashley towards Leon so as not to be called sexist. Why didn't they make her more dynamic and let her scream "LEON LEON" only like a wet cat? With a little imagination, they could have made the character interactions much cooler, even cooler than the original, but obviously Capcom is lazy when it comes to character and scene development, which is why they mainly invested in graphics to make a quick profit. Almost every remake that comes out shows us the mass lack of creativity and originality and that the only thing that almost every big company cares about is quick money. I heard something about a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, we will laugh again...

  Truly, it is the best remake that has been released, better even than the second one. It is clearly more difficult than the original game, it has a longer duration than the original, it has many more treasures than the first one, and overall, it is one of the best games in the series. It is worth every penny, up until the last euro... for me, it is the best remake from the company so far

  It is incredible how well it runs on a decade-old console.
  It has nothing to envy from the PS5 version.
  Personally, RE4 was not one of my favorites, but Capcom did a great job here, making it more suspenseful and darker.
  Of course, some dialogues have changed, and the graphics and sound are now at top levels.
  There is nothing else to say since the game has been re-released 3 times.... but this version is by far the best.
  An RE as it should be in 2023.

  Very nice game for a 10-year-old console. The only objection is some low resolution graphics due to the fact that the PS4 cannot handle it properly. However, everything else is very good. A must-have game for fans of the genre. It is worth the money and more.

  Although initially skeptical as I considered REmake2 unbeatable, in my humble opinion, REmake4 is undoubtedly the best remake in the series and one of the best reimaginings we have seen in recent years in gaming.
  Just like in 2005, when Capcom revolutionized the genre with the original, they once again reintroduce themselves and have come to "revolutionize" by putting effort into correcting past mistakes, as it has nothing to do with the rushed nature of REremake3, and also challenging ambitious competitors or rivals in the horror genre, raising the bar once again.
  Literally, it is a massive step up, without cutting content while fixing any flaws of the original, adding content to an already epic game, from the story, side missions, exploration, and duration, emphasizing even the smallest aesthetic detail, making it simultaneously even darker and more terrifying/horrifying, with a tremendous atmosphere of despair and survival, perfectly balancing the action aspect with survival horror.
  A MUST for fans of the RE series and the genre.
