The name G.SKILL Trident is known for its overclocking capability, and the Trident Z5 for the DDR5 generation is no exception. The Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 DDR5 memory kits are suitable for experiencing ultra-high performance on next-generation DDR5 platforms.
The Trident Z5 family incorporates supercar elements into the Trident design, creating a sleek and futuristic exterior. It features a black aluminum strip on a smooth metallic silver or matte black body and is finished with a translucent RGB light bar optimized for smooth lighting.

They performed perfectly and activated the XMP at 7200 MHz, on AM5 Ryzen 7800x3d - Gigabyte x670 Aorus Elite version 1.3, of course with the latest BIOS update
It is an amazing product, SK Hynix A Die. Initially on ZEN 4 and Ryzen 7800X3D with XMP enabled it will not work since the computer doesn't even start. I run them at 6400MHZ with Timings CL 32 and voltage at 1.4volt.
In general, G.Skill has disappointed me lately regarding compatibility with AMD motherboards. I don't know if the motherboard company is to blame, but since I've worked with many companies, they all have had poor compatibility lately with G.Skill. The RGB software from G.Skill has been terrible for the past 6 years. Functionally perfect, but I am seriously considering switching to another company from now on.
You will notice the difference in demanding games. The icing on the cake is its appearance (see LED lighting) as long as it functions. It's worth its money.
I bought them for my gaming setup with a 13900KS and 4090 on z790. The memory played correctly with XMP recognizing the speeds correctly. It has its own program for the LEDs, but it also works with Razer Synapse from Razer, which is very smart for controlling the LEDs from one point. I generally prefer to buy g-skill and it's unlikely that I will go for another brand. They are very fast with very good quality. That's basically what you want when building a high-end PC.
On Z790 Aorus Elite X wifi7 motherboard with beta BIOS F5g, with XMP enabled at 7200, it plays without errors in memtest86.
