They turn off by themselves when not in use... therefore, when someone calls you, you have to go through the process of turning them on and reconnecting them to your phone... very inconvenient and time-consuming...
In 1.5 months, that's it.... I got them only for running... after about 20 runs with an average of 5 km, they suddenly stopped charging and that's it.... what can I say... from me, 1 star... regarding the sound, mediocre things for JBL... they are not very stable in the ear when you run....
I bought them for use at the beach and at the gym. However, I also use them at the office, in the car, at home. Not only for music, but also for movies and conversations. Overall, they have been very helpful. Their magnet is good, so when I'm not using them, I'm not afraid of losing them. The battery is sufficient for my use. When I don't use them for about 2 hours, they automatically turn off to save energy. As for the sound, I have no complaints, I can hear very clearly and have conversations as if I weren't wearing headphones. After some searching, I found them about 15 euros cheaper than the store price, so I am quite satisfied with my purchase.
It is not suitable for running because it slips with sweat. I have adapted the cushions from the divine AM61 by Huawei, which has been discontinued, and it works better that way. It is important that it can be connected simultaneously to more than one device!
One of the best headphones I have ever bought!
I have had them for two years, and they really feel like I bought them yesterday. I use them daily, either for music or for running. The sound is excellent, crystal clear, with bass, and it warns you with a specific sound in case the battery drops below 20%. It doesn't discharge quickly, and (personally for me) it comfortably lasts 3-4 days with one charge that I do. I highly recommend it, and you won't regret the money you will spend.
Although in terms of sound and application it is fine, I notice the following. As soon as it passes about 10 minutes without using them, they disconnect from the phone and turn off. Even with a full battery. It is very annoying because you want them to be hands-free while moving without having to deal with the phone. If I have to activate them every now and then to talk, then it's not hands-free. Also annoying is the notification when the phone rings, which constantly repeats the phrase "Incoming call" (this is a matter of taste of course). Finally, it does not give you the ability to redial the last number with a double tap (like most hands-free devices do), but it opens the Google assistant for you to speak... And what should I tell it? Call my accountant? Pure disappointment and 40€ wasted...
After 1 month of use, it was really awful, €40 from a well-known electronics chain and I still regret it. They don't last long enough, they constantly need charging, and at some point, when playing a song at random times, it would start from the beginning again. Bad experience, bad quality, only the cable remained.
P.S.: The purchase of the headphones was made with the consideration of their resistance to sweat, literally after 2 easy runs they became useless
The most useless thing is circulating. I never write reviews but honestly, it's so bad that it deserves criticism. The main problem is the battery that barely lasts 10 minutes
My review is a result of (inevitable) comparison with the Huawei AM61 that I had for 4 years, which unfortunately gave up. It is also a result of comparison with the Sony WI C100 that I have had for a few months now. Let's get to it.
Sound quality: the classic bass sound of JBL. It takes some getting used to but does not disappoint, maybe you need to play with an equalizer to adjust it to your liking. The volume of the headphones, however, is moderate.
Connectivity: Good and fast, even when connected to two devices simultaneously. A big negative especially for those who want to use them daily is that after a little idle time they turn off on their own for battery saving reasons (I assume). And obviously, I mean they turn off even though they are properly connected to the phone.
Application: A very big plus for me is the length of the cable, which disappointed me with the Sony. The length is just right for them to hang comfortably around your neck when you're not wearing them and not have excess cable. Not like most similar ones that have excessively long cables and hang either on your back when you wear them, or on your belly when you're not wearing them. The fit in the ears in general is good but not comparable to the Huawei, which also had the fin for additional stability. Their magnet is simply sufficient to keep them together when not in use.
Battery life: I consider it good, considering they turn off on their own to save energy. They are not as good as Huawei, but at least there is a USB-C port to charge them anywhere.
Call quality: I had no complaints so far, so they get a plus from me here too.
At 40 euros, I think they are a good choice for the category.
One star was removed for the issue with the disconnections when they remain idle.
Update: not even a year later, the cover detached from the unit with the buttons.
Every 1 to 2 hours, the JBL Run 2 device shuts down and needs to be powered on again.
The old JBL Run that I had, using it daily for two and a half years, had no issues at all.
