After one year it shuts down on its own and the power has broken. Avoid classic Xiaomi, don't listen to reviews because they break in the first year when the warranty ends
The phone is of the Greek representation. It was purchased on sale eight months ago for 380 euros. The mobile worked well until about a month ago when I received the latest software update of enormous size, 4.05 GB!!! I give it three stars because after the latest software update, there are overheating issues with the device, despite taking drastic measures such as removing programs, reducing brightness, etc.
I have bought several phones from the company.
I bought this particular one from a big chain because I wanted a powerful phone but small in size.
In general, I am very satisfied with the battery life, charging speed, etc.
I find it unacceptable that every summer when I use the GPS (Maps), the app shuts down due to overheating.
Only buy it if you don't place the phone on the windshield.
Let's start with this. For years, I have been a user of Huawei and unfortunately, I made my first change recently due to the ban on Huawei. The problem is that in one month of using the phone, I noticed some other serious negatives compared to the Huawei Honor 20 Pro. First of all, the Xiaomi 12t has a much faster screen with an AMOLED 120Hz panel, while the Honor 20 Pro had an LPS LCD 60Hz, although the difference is not overwhelming. The Xiaomi 12t has much better stereo speakers compared to the single speaker of the Honor 20. Now, speaking about battery issues, the Honor 20 has a reliably better battery than the Xiaomi 12t as it charges at only 22 watts at a much safer rate than the 120 watts. Because of this, the battery of the Honor 20 is much better even though it is three years older than the Xiaomi. Also, the cameras of the Honor 20, with the front camera being at 108 megapixels, surpass the Xiaomi's 48 megapixels. The difference, despite all this, is minimal and in many aspects, the Honor 20 prevails over the Xiaomi. Additionally, the selfie camera on the Xiaomi is terrible as it is much smaller than that of the Honor and it suffers in low light conditions, while the Honor's low light performance was its strong point. Also, the materials used for the Honor 20 are glass and aluminum metal, while the Xiaomi is made of plastic, which greatly downgrades the overall appearance of the phone. Closing with something more personal that I don't think many people face. The transition from Huawei ecosystem to Xiaomi requires changing wireless headphones as the previous Huawei FreeBuds 4i headphones work at a much lower volume with Xiaomi than with Huawei and at a much lower quality as well. I believe that both phones are good, but depending on each person's requirements, you decide if it is worth buying this phone.
Unfortunately, the quality of Xiaomi is constantly decreasing. If you want it for professional use, it's better to avoid it. It's good for taking photos and chatting, though. For example: NFC doesn't work if there are duplicate applications, the battery barely lasts until the afternoon, but it charges in 20 minutes, which is very helpful. Bluetooth frequently freezes, resulting in interrupted calls.
Also, I should mention that I have reset the factory settings when the update was done, but it still has several issues.
Owner of Xiaomi 12T - 128GB here for 1 month. The phone, which was upgraded a few days ago to MIUI GLOBAL 14.0.7, is extremely fast, the battery lasts very satisfactorily with moderate use, nice screen, and overall no issues.
Specifically now, the photos it takes are good as well as the videos, but compared to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G with MIUI GLOBAL 14 that I have been using for 2 years, they are slightly worse when you look at the details, especially on larger screens. However, because they have warmer colors compared to the 11, they look at least better on the phone!
Overall, I would say that the 11 LITE is a better choice because it is cheaper by about €160 and it is also very fast, being significantly thinner and lighter than almost all other phones! Its age of 2 years is not noticeable at all, and the slightly smaller and lower resolution screen of 1080 x 2400 instead of 1220 x 2712 is negligible.
I thought that with the 12T, I would have a better camera, but in practice, its superior specifications do not prove it.
Also, the fingerprint screen does not always work as well as the side one of the 11 LITE.
New mobile phone of 1 week. We have and we say:
1. Device with a very good feel. Although a bit heavy, it has a nice grip.
2. The screen is amazing. The resolution and brightness are very good.
3. Fast fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the screen.
4. Speed, everything is fast. I was used to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (a 4-year-old phone) where I would press something or open an app and wait 4-5 seconds for it to open. Here, everything happens immediately. So the feeling of speed is obvious. It doesn't lag in apps, switching between apps, or 4K videos.
5. Battery, the truth is that for 5000mAh, I expected better. That is, after a normal day of use with data always on from 9 in the morning, I would arrive home at 7 and still have 50% battery. It doesn't have that much, but about 35%. HOWEVER... HOWEVER... with the 120W charger, you don't worry about anything. I plug it in to charge and in 5 minutes it goes from 35% to 65%. So you don't have a problem.
6. I didn't see any bloatware or pre-installed apps that I can't delete. MIUI 13 is good.
7. It doesn't matter that it doesn't have an LED for notifications. The Always-on display is also great. It shows side lights in red or blue for each notification.
Overall, a phone that for the 460 Euros I paid, I think it's worth it. It will have support and security updates until 2026 (usually Xiaomi gives 4 years of support for each phone).
The blue color is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos, it doesn't look cheap.
Owner of the mobile phone for 2 months now. In general, it is a mobile phone that I believe will satisfy every user. The screen resolution is very good and the brightness is sufficient to be clear during the day. Very powerful and clear speaker. The processor is very good, it has not frozen for a moment and runs everything smoothly. As for the cameras, I have no opinion as I am not particularly interested. Personally, it covers me and more, this part is subjective. As for the battery, with the usage I give it (Social, Youtube, browsing), it easily lasts the whole day and in the evening it will be around 30 to 25%. In this scenario I mentioned, from morning until noon I use data due to work and from noon until evening I use wifi. On days when I only use wifi, it has given me a screen on time of up to 8 hours. The 4 stars are given due to the price, which I consider excessive. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has gone too far. They had accustomed us to value for money and now they bring us down abruptly.
Whatever I say is little, excellent high-quality mobile phone. Maximum speed impeccable photos perfect sound, nice operating system. As for the battery, I use it a lot so I can't be objective... It lasts a day... with fast charging. Face recognition is almost instantaneous... fingerprint works great! I hope I helped
The photos and videos are of average quality.
The battery is almost satisfactory, it lasts a day with normal use, although with the 120W charger, it charges in 20 minutes.
In terms of performance, it doesn't lag anywhere, I use it for games, social media, etc.
The screen is crystal clear, with very good brightness
It is a very decent device that lacks nothing. The cameras are really good (for anyone who is not a professional but also for anyone who has not been caught up in the camera hysteria at a level that the brain does not even perceive).
The battery is lacking, but it lasts until the morning when you dress up. The 120w works wonders.
In summary, I would say it is very honest for its price.
I always had iPhone phones... At some point, 4 years ago, I bought a Samsung note mobile, which exhausted me functionally compared to the iPhone (everything was done in a more complex way)... so I switched back to iPhone. This time, because I considered the prices for an iPhone max pro 14 to be excessive, I decided to take a risk and get the Xiaomi T12, without spending a lot of money (650€).... I can say that I was amazed!!!!... Easy to use phone, fast, doesn't "freeze" anywhere, amazing camera with stunning photos (I have been involved in photography for many years with expensive Nikon cameras and lenses).... I don't have a comparison with other Xiaomi and Samsung phones, because I never had them in essence.... Anyway, this T12 is a great phone... The photo I am attaching was taken by photographing the TV while playing a video from YouTube... The phone also immediately connected to the Samsung TV I have
I have had the phone for a few days and I can say that I am quite satisfied. The battery lasts all day, perfect photos with many functions, fast, clear speaker, and it charges quickly. If I notice anything else, I will come back
I have been using it for a month now and I can say that it is quite fast, it takes good photos, not perfect, and the video quality is also good. The battery lasts a whole day with just phone usage and casual internet browsing, but if you try to play a game, it drains quickly. The only exceptional thing is that it charges extremely fast, like from 3% to 100% in 20 minutes. I got it for 503 and I also got a discount, so it cost me 380, which is great for its current price
It has everything in the world, except for a battery. Yesterday I charged it to 100% (at 19:00), and now the battery is at 43%. Let me clarify, in the morning I went to take written certification exams, I did simulation tests for about 40 minutes, then I closed it for 2 hours. Until the time I am writing this, I haven't played for even 1 minute, I spoke 2-3 times, and nothing else that would consume the battery so quickly. Unless I haven't closed all the applications running in the background (maybe that's the problem). I will check it and get back to you.
3 weeks from purchase!!
Photo: All cameras perform very well except for the macro which is poor.
Battery: Very good endurance for a whole day with movie, gaming, and full browsing. The phone has not heated up at all.
Speed: The phone has not lagged at all... it has a very good response to touches.
Screen: Quite good.
Overall, very satisfied!!! If anything negative comes up, I will come back!
I have an incredible flagship mobile phone for 5 days now! Powerful processor, better camera than expected both in the morning and at night, incredible speakers... absolutely no issues, of course I will come back if I find something! And most importantly, lightning-fast charging even though it has a huge battery that lasts for one and a half days! 5 stars are not enough, and as for the price, it's great for everything it offers, especially since I got it with a free watch! 5 stars are not enough!
