I bought it as a gift for my wife. She opened it, plugged it in. As she was straightening her hair, the straightener turned off by itself, it wasn't working. It also made a clicking sound from the cord; as if the cord wasn't making a good connection with the straightener. She turned it off, opened it again after five days, having the exact same problems and then she didn't use it again. We will try to return it.

It straightens my hair very well but it arrived defective. It shuts off when the cable turns from the left. I called both the company and the store from which it came and they didn't answer. It would definitely get 5 stars if it hadn't arrived defective

Amazing straightener. The hair stays straight for 3 days for sure. I can't say if it damages the hair since I use heat protectants for that reason. Besides, continuous use of a straightener definitely isn't good.

The straightener that we all 30+ had
I had it for quite a few years, at least a decade, and it was great, perfect straightening.

It is a very good straightener, I bought it a few days ago. It straightens the hair very quickly and it lasts for days. Previously, I had the Remington and while I was also very satisfied, I believe this one is a little better and straightens faster. I have wavy hair and a lot of long hair, and in 15-20 minutes it is perfect. The only downside is that it pulls the hair a bit, so some strands may break. But that's how many straighteners are in general.

The worst. I bought it and within a few days the cable broke at the point where it rotates. They replaced it for me and already the second one turns off several times when I rotate the cable while straightening my hair.

Whatever I say is little... I also use steampod... (L’Oréal) and I have really stopped using it because I use this one...!!!!! Just apply heat protection

The best straightening iron! I have bought it twice in 15 years. It heats up quickly, straightens hair quickly, and the result lasts a long time!

One of the best straighteners I have used and the same goes for everyone who has used it compared to their own. I recommend it! For this price (but also compared to others that cost more) the result is excellent!

I had tried this straightener from cousins and friends until I bought it. It has fallen at least 2 times, but it is in perfect condition, almost like new. It straightens hair well in about 10-15 minutes. I also make wide curls because I know how to use it on my hair. Yes, it damages the hair naturally like all straighteners, but it is perfectly reasonable. Unfortunately, recently (after 8+ years of almost daily use) the on/off light flickers due to the cable. It is not possible to be fixed so it needs to be withdrawn. I recommend it more than anything else. I was sad when it broke. I have also bought a professional one for 200+ euros to have a second one but it doesn't compare! This one is simply amazing!

I buy it for the 2nd time. The previous one broke completely after 3 repairs in 14 years (the cable inside the base gets cut). I don't care to buy anything else because it is the best hair straightener, it works like a charm! If it breaks again, I will buy the exact same one, although I am thinking of getting another one just to be safe in case it goes out of circulation.

The best thing I have ever bought, I highly recommend it! It only takes me 10 minutes to straighten my hair using 160 or 180 degrees, which is very frizzy and thick. It doesn't get damaged at all in humidity or even in the rain.
I have had it for 5 months and without paying much attention to my hair or using suitable products, it hasn't had any split ends at all. YES, you should get it!

Very good job. The only negative is that if you want it to also make curls, it DOES NOT do that. And it is a bit heavy.

I would totally recommend. I have only used izzy straighteners in my life, and this one has proved to be the best one yet! I have it for 8 years now, still as good as I first bought it. I have dropped it more times than I can count, and the screen doesn't work very well, but it is completely my fault, and even so, it still works great!! It goes idle, after 15 mins of not using, which is very helpful, because I often forget it open, and then it will shut down, after half an hour, which for me is perfect!

Honestly, the best straightener there is. I have had it for 15 years and it hasn't had any issues. I have very long, frizzy, and damaged hair, and in 10 minutes I have straight hair. Personally, the result lasts until I wash my hair again (3+ days) and it heats up in about 1 minute. If it ever stops working, I will definitely buy the same one again.

I bought it because I read several good reviews, but I was disappointed! My own hair is frizzy, it doesn't straighten them very well, and definitely the next day they need to be straightened again! Also, I think it damages the hair quite a bit as many strands break during the process.

Average straightener, heats up quickly, has a very long cord, but the straightening doesn't hold, needs to be done almost every day, I have fine hair that breaks easily. The previous one I had, Bellissima, was much better.

You could say that I have an emotional connection with this straightener, as I have been using it since high school. I have long, frizzy hair and the wide plate helps me straighten it in 12 minutes. It may not be the latest technology model, but it is 100% effective and value for money. I always use heat protection products in combination. One of the pluses is that it has a very long cord.

I have had it for almost two years and I am quite satisfied.
Initially, I was shocked to see it heating up in about 1-2 minutes, its temperature reaches up to 200. It keeps the straightening ideal throughout the day... the next day it takes a quick press to get it straight again...
Also, it has an automatic shut-off in case you leave it on and forget...
Finally, unfortunately, it is not possible to make curls with it because the plates are flat...

I have had it for 4 years and okay I have loved it for the result it gives! Very smooth and shiny hair. Especially mine, which is very frizzy, even in the countryside where I am and it is very humid, it stays straight and smooth.
However, it pulls the hair if you don't pay attention and they break, especially for curls, I have broken many tufts. Nothing has happened to me in 4 years with almost daily use, and I can't say that I take care of it.
I don't know if I would buy it again, however, I don't want it to break. I would like to get a more hair-friendly (steam) one and have that one for better occasions.

I LOVE IT!!! I have had it for 20 years!! I have bought 2 more after this one.. One steam iron that did NOTHING.. and the other one from a well-known company.. and both are still in their boxes. I WILL NOT CHANGE IT WITH ANYTHING ELSE!!! After 20 years, the only thing it has suffered is wear on the cable and a change in color.. It is my faithful FRIEND! These days I will buy another one just like it so it doesn't break and I can't find it later. I hope the company continues to produce it for many more years!!! ♥️♥️♥️

I have it.... Maybe for 20 years!! I remember everything that was released!! It hasn't suffered anything at all! Very frequent use, it straightens the hair with one pass. As soon as you turn it on, you start straightening in 2 minutes! It lags a bit in curling because the hair gets caught, but... It is a straightener!! Not a curling iron! I have used others, none like this without exaggeration... The best choice!

The only reason I removed one star is that all of these that I have bought have broken in the same spot on the cable at the rotating part, but until they break, they have definitely earned the money!

I bought it because of its great reviews! It has wide plates and hair gets caught on the sides, pulled, and as a result, the hair gets cut!!! I was not satisfied at all, luckily it wasn't expensive!!!

My mother gave it to me as a gift 10 years ago and it still works. The plates have worn out, so I'm looking to buy new ones and I'm seriously considering buying the same one again. It's not very lightweight in the hand and when I had short hair, it wasn't easy for details, but it does a very good job. Very good, I stopped using it because I switched to steam. But if I want quick and immediate results, I will come back here. In 5 minutes, my hair, even if long and damaged, is ready.

I have it since 2008, the only thing that broke is the cable near the plug because I used to pull it from there, otherwise it hasn't had any issues!! I would buy it again and again
