Since I have been playing NFS since that epic Underground 2, I have to say that the games in the series have become indifferent. There is no serious customization in the appearance of the car; no matter what car you choose, you end up putting the same things, resulting in frustration because there is no difference from the same cars that exist online. Okay, there is a wide range of stickers and colors, but that still doesn't mean much. Nevertheless, they have added some childish effects with wings and some colorful dust. As for the gameplay, it is quite tiring. The cars and races are categorized. It starts from category B and goes up to S+, where you essentially max out the car mechanically. This has a flaw. For example, if you are a bit of an old-school player and you like cars like the Evo, GTR, Subaru, and other similar ones, even if you make those cars S+, they have no uniqueness, resulting in always being beaten by cars in the Lamborghini, Ferrari category, which you can also make S+. Also, to unlock cars, you have to complete certain specific races in specific categories that really take a lot of time, resulting in the end just building a basic car with no special acceleration, top speed, or appearance. Now, regarding the races, to finish a race, you have to play 3 different races, each of which can have 2, 3 laps, or one long one. No race gives more than 40k unless many players join, BUT if someone decides to leave, you lose the bonus. So if the game gives 35k for the race and 4 players join, it will reach 45k, but if during the race some leave, it will drop you back to 35k. There are, of course, some races with a bit more, but the game gives you a car. Essentially, races are held with the same cars that the game provides you. Graphically, it's okay. In short, it's not worth the effort; it won't captivate you. For 15 euros, it's worth passing the time and nothing more. I would much rather play NFS Carbon again. Among the new NFS games, I think Heat is much better
It is the top game for play station 5 and how I understood it, I also have a pc and I have downloaded it there too and it is nicer on play station 5 for my own experience it is the top game
a disappointment.... I wonder what they were thinking when they made it..... the carbon in the ps2 game from 2006 is 1000 times better...... I simply laugh....
Having played some of the older series, I have to say that it has a different approach, some liked it, others didn't.
As a player, I am positive about changes that developers dare to make!
The fact that a specific art style was added that accompanies the most realistic cars was widely heard. Many considered it completely pointless and stupid, I appreciated it. It gives a new image and a different vibe, a little lighter one could say (now it can also be disabled). If you don't go in with the mindset that it's bad, you will have a more positive response.
The graphics are top-notch and run at 60 fps without interruption. There are plenty of cars with plenty of modifications and opportunities to add your own style.
Unfortunately, the main negative point for me is that it doesn't try to offer anything new in the story. A cliché story just to justify the missions they give you, you know from the first hours where the story will go
Well, I've heard a lot about this game. It has quite a few negative comments, but I can't find the reason. Let's start with the whole concept around the story. It has to do with the fact that you had a garage. Your friends betrayed you and stole your cars, and you have to grind and fight to get them all back, just like before. Of course, if you play for hours like I did with this particular game. You will finish the story very quickly. It has a plethora of 140+ cars, except for the Supra Toyota, etc. It is a pretty good game and worth its money. The only negative thing is that the story ends quite quickly if you play seriously and for hours. After that, there won't be much else to do besides customizing cars or participating in the online part, which I haven't explored. You can also do classic missions for money. The game requires experience to play because it is quite difficult in terms of handling, although everything is adjustable in the drift and grip parts, as long as you fully upgrade your car. And of course, from the classic settings, the map doesn't say much. There is a nice nighttime atmosphere, beautiful depiction of rain during the day and night, and in general, they did a lot of work to make the game realistic. The map is small, some may get bored quickly, but for me, it is typical and as it should be. It is difficult as a game and definitely worth the money, and this comes from a friend who grew up with NFS series like Most Wanted, Undercover, Rivals, etc. It has nothing to envy from any NFS game. Now, the issue of the police. When you increase the heat level, the police are so focused on catching you that I have never seen such focused police in a racing game. The problem is that they pop up everywhere and ruin the whole scene, especially if you have collected a lot of money for upgrades, etc. But if you move smartly, have a fast car, and use the safe houses, it's the best thing ever. Plus, to avoid police helicopters when hiding under trees, you can press the omicron on your controller to turn off the engine, so if you are well hidden and not visible or if you are in the dark, you can make a great escape from the police. Congratulations to the game for that, it's a masterpiece
The game is difficult for my taste and I didn't like it very much. I reached the middle of the story and I quit. If you want a good racing game, it's better to get a wc or the grand tourismo 7
I don't know if it's the worst in the series because I haven't played them all, but it's definitely one of the worst. Boring single player, repetitive, terrible "tracks" as you easily lose the race boundaries and it resets you from first to last, and finally the worst and most annoying thing is the police. I have never seen this in a game before, the police in this game are determined to crush your soul, they never ever stop chasing you. I have spent about 40 hours just trying to escape them and in races about 15. Especially in heat 5 with those jeeps, you can't escape no matter what or if you manage to escape, they will find you in a very short period of time as there are infinite patrols and helicopters. Even with the "cheat" I do (I go and fall into the sea again and again and they follow me inside, it resets me without losing a life and they die), it is extremely frustrating. Honestly, I prefer to go on websites and criticize it rather than play this cancerous game. I will write reviews until I get a refund. I would rather play NFS Underground 1 & 2 again with bad graphics than this garbage. Seriously, don't buy it, the definition of wasted money is an understatement.
The worst thing I have ever played in my life, terrible graphics, terrible story, unbelievably difficult even on easy mode, the shame of gaming, I feel sorry for those who bought it, luckily I sold it within a month and got rid of it. A billion times better is Heat, which is the top for me.
The game was purchased for 24 euros.
Personally, I like it because it reminds me a bit of underground.
It has more options for building cars, from body kits to designs.
It has lost the Audi brand, but it has added some that did not exist in Heat, such as the RX8 or the Lamborghini Urus, among others.
The graphics are more "cartoonish," but personally, it doesn't bother me so much (It's common).
The thing is, you also have the police in the morning, which makes it even more extreme, but the problem is that they appear frequently, even if you manage to escape them, so this might bother someone
Fun classic arcade nfs gameplay, with its issues at the same time as sometimes it becomes annoying.
Fresh graphics, personally I didn't mind the cartoonish effects at all, in fact I found the art style interesting and fitting.
Beyond that, the story is borderline nonexistent and the game becomes boring because it's always the same thing over and over again.
Criterion managed to offer us a fairly decent and entertaining Need For Speed, in which, however, EA did not believe at all, and this is evident from the zero advertising that the title received. It is certainly not perfect, but it is one of the best Need For Speed games we have seen in recent years.

Medium and definitely not next-gen easily came out for PS4 and older generation Xbox, it's heat with some extra positives and some very bad ones like the cartoonish effects, it's a shame that we PS5 owners don't have a decent game like Forza, its real value as a season update is below €40, it also lost another brand, Audi... What a shame.
Come to pass the next one, by far the worst of the whole series for me who have played them all - like playing a racing game on my mobile. Graphics for PS4 and not for next gen, road cars buildings all makeshift
Hello everyone, finally after so long the ultimate racing game, underground, and more has arrived. It is a game that has it all, the most important thing being that it has done a great job in all areas, graphics, sound, upgrades, etc. I won't say more, just that whoever wants can check out my channel on YouTube. Have a great holiday season. Sincerely, Costas Infinity Games
