QHD Resolution
With a resolution of 2560 x 1440, Quad HD (QHD) offers superior image quality and sharp images that reveal the finest details. The 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio provides plenty of space to spread out and work, while allowing you to enjoy games or movies in their original size.
VA Panel
VA panels (Vertical Alignment) display deeper blacks and high contrast for exceptionally vivid and bright images.

I got it for the second time because I wanted a 1440 due to the PD27S I have on the left, which has a completely different screen and I have a very powerful comparison meter.
The Q27B3MA is a very decent VFM monitor that sits next to the PD27S with dignity in office conditions.
It needs some adjustments with its colors to bring out the 100% but when you find it, you really see a much stronger clear contrast compared to the IPS.
I bought it for about 150 euros at the end of November 2023. For its price, it is quite good for office use and for watching movies. Due to the VA panel, it has very nice blacks and very good contrast. It lacks, of course, in viewing angles. The build quality is average without anything negative. The screen is not intended for gaming BUT for me, who occasionally plays soulslike and action games that run at around 60fps, it is great with very nice colors.
Cute monitor, but it gets tiring due to the excessive brightness caused by the large surface, so I have set a dark theme wherever possible. It's difficult to go back to a 24" after using a 27". It's not a good idea to have 27 inches in full HD, this resolution (QHD 2560) is better for PC (no problem if you don't have requirements for PlayStation). It was purchased for €139.9 on December 1, 2023. The unacceptable thing is that the sound cannot be adjusted and the speaker doesn't have volume control for all frequencies, it seems like only the treble is audible, you can't play soft music in the background and have it play at a low volume, it doesn't reproduce correctly. I'm already considering opening it up and replacing it with another one if it fits... In a BenQ Full HD monitor that I bought, there is a volume adjustment button and the sound is decent. But the resolution doesn't suit me, so I took a risk with the AOC.
The concept of value for money product. Very honest, suitable for office work.
Simply for those who have never worked in 2K on this screen size before: everything appears quite small (as if you have zoomed out). For me, it's a positive thing, especially since it's easy to change from the operating system settings!
First of all, we are talking about a 27" VA monitor with QHD resolution, 75Hz refresh rate, and a very low price.
I will divide my review into categories.
- Size, weight. It is a large monitor. It takes up space on the desk, but it compensates with its image size. It has small margins around the screen, but I have seen smaller ones. It is not impressive, but it does not have anything bad in terms of design. The weight is light. I do not know if the stand is stable because I immediately used a separate stand.
- Build quality. It is very good for its price. It does not look cheap, but it is not expensive either. The adjustment buttons have a moderate press, but overall, it is fine for the price.
- Image: Very good. Colors are accurate, viewing angles are good, but not as good as an IPS. The 75Hz refresh rate makes it quite comfortable. The resolution is very good for this size. Personally, I would not choose FHD resolution for a 27" monitor.
If someone wants it for office work and video/image editing, it is a very decent monitor for the money. For gaming, it is average. The 4ms response time may be fine for many types of games, but it is not suitable for FPS and competitive games. You can play, but it is not the best.
The thing is, AOC never claimed that it is a gaming monitor. So, overall, I would say that for its price, it is a very good and fair choice. I am satisfied with my purchase. I recommend it, as long as the buyer knows why they are buying it.
