I bought them on sale for €74. For €74, I would say it's a worthwhile purchase, as it is a shoe with good construction quality, sturdy as it looks, solid enough to keep the foot stable, and a little tested in the rain while on a motorcycle, it didn't let in water even though it got wet. It looks nice on the foot (although that's subjective) and overall for me it was worth the € I spent.
As for the size, it's OK, although with adidas you should always take the next larger size than what you wear, especially in such shoes that you might wear with thick hiking socks, so they have space and are more comfortable. I bought size 47⅓ but I should have taken size 48 (I think 47⅔ wasn't available).
On the negatives, I would say that the inner sides at the heel are a bit stiff (they could have used softer material there) but the serious downside I found is that the sole slips more than I expected on wet surfaces. Especially on sidewalk slabs and those with grooves for the blind. They require caution, in short, if they are wet. On other surfaces, of course, they are OK, but this disappointed me because it's supposed to be a shoe that should have good grip everywhere. I have similar (but much more expensive) shoes from a well-known brand for extreme sports that are truly tanks in all conditions and on every surface. I expected that adidas would also be good in terms of grip for such a shoe, but it isn't. It reminds me of the behavior of basketball shoes that hate wet courts.
For an initial price of €130... not even... there are better and more specialized shoes at those prices. At €74, which is what I paid, it's fine. At €100, which I see them now, I probably wouldn't buy them if I knew what I know now. 4 stars only because of the slipping on wet surfaces.
The shoe is identical in design, materials, with the TERREX EASTRAIL 2 MID R.RDY HP8600 (which I bought a couple of years later). The only difference is that on the side instead of adidas it says terrex.
Very comfortable shoe. Walking, standing, you don't feel anything. I wear size 44 and I got size 44 and it's OK. They fit well but OK. They don't hurt anywhere and they hold my feet well. In all the other Adidas shoes I have, size 44 is a little more comfortable for me. I wear them on rainy winter days, where I have happened to step into flooded streets up to my ankles, and my feet didn't get wet and they keep them warm. At the 80€ I bought them, I believe they are the most value for money waterproof boot. Just be a little careful when going from rain to marble floors because they slip a little until their sole dries.
Whichever of the two you find at a better price, grab it.
Comfortable and nice boots for everyday use of any kind! They are soft, they don't hurt and they don't tire the foot! They only slip a little on polished floors - mosaics, but otherwise they are perfect! I wear size 42 and I got size 42 3/4 and they fit perfectly
Very comfortable shoe (more than my everyday "flat" good quality ones), waterproof for normal everyday use in the rain. Very satisfied with the purchase (of course I got it at a great price, €78). When they are wet, they slip mainly on marble, anywhere else is fine! Also, when they are wet, they are noisy on smooth surfaces indoors. Pay attention to the size: in most shoes I wear size 42 (with extra insoles in all shoes, due to long hours of use at work). In these, I went for size 42 2/3 to have the same result, which also applies to other Adidas shoes I tried (Trailmaker, Soulstride).
