Excellent phone for its kind, with many useful features that are usually not found in such mobiles. It is very easy to manage, with large buttons and strong backlight so that you always see what it shows on the screen. It has an awesome design, both in appearance and in its operating system. Personally, I bought it as a backup phone, to take with me when I go out without a smartphone, as I wanted to reduce the time I spend in front of the screen. However, I see it slowly becoming my main phone :)
I bought it for my father, who doesn't deal with smartphones and just wanted a small mobile phone with basic features and good battery life so that we can find him and he can find us more easily.
Negatives:
The side volume button is pressed with the slightest touch and reduces the volume to 0 even when the cover is closed.
When the cover is opened, it goes into whichever menu it wants, sometimes in messages, sometimes in calls, sometimes in the main menu.
Its battery barely lasts 4-5 days and I have turned off EVERYTHING, while Nokia claims 15-20 days of battery life.
Positives:
It is small.
It answers calls simply by opening the cover.
It ends calls simply by closing the cover.
Simple mobile phone, good for the category of basic phones. Good for elderly people with some knowledge of mobile phones
Very nice phone, I got it as a gift for my father. The messages sound very loud and scare him. I had read bad reviews that the phone's sound lowers if you have it in your pocket, for example, but my father hasn't experienced anything like that so far
I bought it for my elderly mother; apart from the buttons that lowered the volume, the first time within 2 days the phone turned off by itself with 50% battery and it didn't charge either. When you managed to charge it, I left it for 10 hours, and when I took it out, it had 70% battery; it didn't charge to 100%. The store replaced it for me; however, with the second phone, the same thing happened again within 1 month, and I didn't bother for a replacement again. Logically, its battery is problematic, as well as its charger
What have we come to, now that phones with buttons are for old men? I mean, am I an old man just because I don't like smartphones and I'm 27? You put labels on everything and everyone; you should look into that...
Perhaps the worst mobile phone. Difficult to use menu, contacts cannot be transferred from another phone via Bluetooth, there are no multiple entries for one contact. Mobile phones from the 2000s are much better. Far from worth even €20.
I bought it for my mother who lives in a different region so that I can communicate if something happens, and unfortunately, I am terrified. It goes into silent mode, it doesn't charge well, so she always has it plugged in. I bought it from the OTE shop, which presented it to me as great for elderly people. Compared to the previous one she had, it is just disappointing. I can't understand with all the negatives it has, why they won't accept to take it back and give us another one.
The only negative is that when you have the phone in your pocket, the volume buttons get pressed and either it goes to silent or it's at a volume that you can't hear!
It does not hold battery at all, its menu is strange but the sound decreases when you press the side volume buttons and makes it quiet so it does not serve elderly people.
I bought it for my elderly father and I regret it, the person who designed it should go herd sheep.
The button next to the volume, you press it by mistake and the phone goes on silent mode.
You press it while talking but it can also be pressed while it's in your pocket.
There should be a rating below zero
Wasted money....the most useless thing I have bought
Everything is fine with it, this side volume adjustment button is very sensitive... You need to keep in mind to turn it up otherwise it is constantly low and you miss calls.
I will fully agree with the negative comments that have been written. I was very unpleasantly surprised by the design of this particular device. As soon as I got it in my hands and started to make the basic settings, I put it on silent without realizing it, something I repeated several times until I finished the settings. It is impossible to avoid pressing the sound button because your hand, as you hold the device, touches exactly on that specific soft button. Contrary to the device itself, which easily and accidentally goes into silent mode, the sound of the buttons does not decrease and is loud and extremely annoying. Lastly, I leave the menu, which I found confusing for such a simple device and for older people.
So I bought the mobile phone for the hours I work because my smartphone distracts me terribly. Its construction is not particularly stable. No comparison to the old Nokia phones in terms of quality. Overall, the mobile phone does everything it says. However, the sound quality during calls is not good. And the battery runs out quickly. My biggest problem is the price. I paid a total of 80€ and I believe it is too expensive for what it offers. I would not recommend it to someone looking to buy such a mobile phone.
Purchased for an elderly person. Easy to use, you can see who is calling without having to open it. If you want to answer, you open it. If you want to end the call, you close it. The battery lasts long enough (with use only as a phone). The speaker is quite loud. Two disadvantages. When you remove it from the charger, it turns off (from the first charge). Also, because it has volume up-down buttons on the side, many times it is accidentally put on silent.
VoLTE does not work in Greece, I contacted Cosmote and they told me that it is not supported. The buttons on the side are extremely annoying and do not turn off, so if you have it in your bag it is very likely that the volume will decrease or even accidentally go on silent, as they are also very soft to press. The buttons are large but those in the center are unacceptable in terms of quality, as they are very deep and not easy to press. Also, the button sounds cannot be turned off. If you plan to buy it for elderly people who have no idea about technology, it is unsuitable in my opinion. My own returned to their old mobile phone. It's a shame because I thought Nokia made quality non-smart mobile phones.
He is missing one star for excellence due to the volume buttons on the side, which are pressed on their own and cause you to miss calls. It also has a malfunction in messages. Overall, if you're not attached to phones with buttons, it's better to look for something else!
Very good, the only problem it has is that the external sound buttons (+,-) are being pressed even when the phone is locked, resulting in it becoming silent.
Nice large screen with good resolution for an old-style mobile phone, making it an ideal solution for seniors. The only negative is some side buttons that still work even when locked, which adjust the volume. If pressed accidentally, the phone may enter silent mode. Overall, though, I am very satisfied.
A very good choice for elderly people.
It offers the absolute basics.
Plus the following:
-Strong speaker
-Fast call
-Battery that lasts long enough
-Option to answer calls by opening the flip
-Large buttons with corresponding large numbers.
Nokia is doing very well by continuing to release feature phones to this day, because they are more convenient to carry due to their smaller size and lighter weight compared to smartphones (for those who don't need the functions of smartphones).
