People with increased communication needs (and not just the elderly) need such a phone. It has large buttons, large letters, clear sound, high ring volume, and quick call buttons (you can save the number you want to call on the keypad - so you don't have to find the number from your contacts or type it in). It is also convenient that the cover activates/deactivates the call, meaning when the phone rings and the cover opens, you can speak immediately and, similarly, when the cover closes, it ends the call without needing to press any button. Finally, in incoming calls, it lights up very brightly, helping to perceive the incoming call. It was chosen for an elderly person with hearing loss and reduced perception of newer and modern technologies. He was so satisfied (having already tried other phones in the past) that he ordered the same one for his peer friend ;)
After only 6 months, the battery swelled and I had to replace it. It doesn't charge very well, often doesn't hold a charge. My grandmother only uses the phone for calls. I wouldn't recommend it.
Purchased for an elderly lady. She learned the menu and general operation easily. Navigating calls and the more specific menus can be difficult for an elderly person. The photos it takes are mediocre at best, but you don't get a phone like this for photography. Battery life is satisfactory, and charging time is also good. The keys are quite large, not huge. Also, it's good as a second emergency phone. Notably, it takes 2 SIM cards.
Large buttons, loud sound when it rings. Button on the side for flashlight. There are no buttons on the side to adjust the volume, which is very good so that someone doesn't accidentally press it and lower the volume. A negative is that there is no notification for missed calls... a light or something... or I haven't found the setting yet. In any case, overall the elderly person using it is very satisfied.
Very good. Easy to use. Strong sound. Large buttons. Perfect for the elderly person we gifted it to and they were thrilled.
It is the 2nd one I have bought for an elderly person.
The first one fell in water and unfortunately died.
It is worth every last euro!!
For a big woman who didn't use a mobile phone earlier, very good, and easy, and strong ringing.
It was purchased today for my father. Large buttons, easy-to-read screen, strong sound, and when you press the number buttons it announces the numbers.
On the (very) negative side, its charger does not charge, it is burnt/damaged, it charged with another charger.
5 out of 10 times when receiving a call the device shuts off.
Even if it doesn't shut off, the person on the other end can't hear anything.
Device for the trash.
With simple use, it lasts 3 days on battery for a year.
The phone, after a month, fell from the nightstand and wouldn't even turn on. I checked and the battery had power, and the USB was also receiving power. It's very likely that the screen cable has been dislodged. After a few days, I tried charging it (after checking the above) and suddenly it turned on, but it doesn't show that it's charging. After 3 days, I opened it to insert a SIM card and the same thing happened again.
It has many positive features for the elderly, but if it's going to fall and not work with a cost of around 50€, it's better to go with Alcatel
I bought it for my elderly father. He is only interested in calls. The phone is small, beautiful, with BIG buttons, and the numbers on the screen are BIG. He is satisfied because he can make phone calls without glasses! Strong sound. His previous phone was the same brand and lasted for two years, with many falls from his hands on the road! It also has a flashlight with an on-off button to see the road or the keys when he puts the key in the door!
The phone was purchased for an elderly person who had the previous model, which broke after 3 years of poor use. I bought him the latest model and he is fully satisfied with the screen with large letters. When he presses the numbers, the device tells him which number he has pressed. It has phone memory storage and overall it is a very good device, and the battery lasts for 3 to 4 days with talk and standby time now in the beginning. It has a radio that works without a cable, but the phone is not suitable for taking photos. I definitely recommend it for someone looking for a phone for an elderly person.
For a year it worked well, only for calls, my mother had it. Suddenly she complained that something was not going well, I opened it and saw that the battery had swollen. From what I see, it had happened to other users as well
I had bought it for my mother, but suddenly one day the battery swelled during charging and almost exploded. It is fake as a mobile phone quality
I bought it for my elderly mother only for calls. Yes, the speech is satisfactory. Unfortunately, the plastic door broke easily when she opened it (without falling down). When I took it to the company, they told me that the breakage is not covered by the warranty! I simply wouldn't buy it again.
I bought it specifically for my 88-year-old mother. It is the best for the elderly. It has large buttons and a loud ringtone. You simply open the lid and answer the call. Very user-friendly!
We bought it for our dad to use at work, as he is old and needs big buttons and numbers. We chose it because it opens and therefore has a larger screen and buttons. Although it served him well, after a month it developed a problem with the speaker and there is no sound when he receives calls. We were disappointed.
I got it for my father, it's very good, it closes with the door open when you are called, but it needs to be adjusted. It's worth its money for calls it is used for
The usage is done by my elderly mother. I consider it a joy. The previous model lasted 2 years with mild use. Only calls. Let's see this one
A simple mobile phone with easy handling for elderly people. Slim and lightweight. It loses a bit in quality, but for the price it asks for, it's great. It also has two sim slots and a micro sd slot.
The mobile phone is only for elderly people for calls. Now, in terms of quality, it is pure Chinese, very light, you shake it and something inside rattles, now if it falls down, you will look for a new one. After 6 months, it gave up
The mobile phone is perfect for the elderly. The menu is easy to adjust to your needs. It has a large font, big keyboard, and bright screen. The setting for answering and ending calls with just the flip of a switch is very convenient for people who have difficulty. It has M1 and M2 to store 2 preferred numbers, speed dial, and an SOS button on the back. The sound is loud and clear. If it doesn't show the full names in the directory as I read in some comments, simply transfer the phone numbers from the SIM card to the phone and it works great.
For the proud elderly, perfect, simple, battery lasts enough, memory non-existent, the previous model had a better screen, for the money it's good.
For the people it is addressed to, it is VERY GOOD, the only NEGATIVE thing is the menu where you lose the ball, if you have to bring it to your own terms, as it happened to me, where the door was not active, after a long time and effort I found it, let alone older people (impossible). I believe I helped
I got it for my father but he wants to change it within a year. The letters are big, but the entries in the phone book are not fully visible to read, for example, names. The settings are not easy to find, for example, to lower the ringtone volume (which is extremely loud). The emergency button is easily pressed, but most of the time by mistake.
Although all the features are good, the reception is unstable. At the same spot where my mother used to receive calls with cheaper phones, now she has to open the door to get a signal. Unfortunately, it's not what we wanted. I decided to get a different one.
I can't send an SMS without sound (after all, I bought it for an elderly person who doesn't deal with messages) and it's annoying when it rings occasionally.
There's no reason for the camera to exist, who takes pictures at an old age?
It's very light due to low-quality materials, so if it falls, it's gone.
The lens has a button on the side, so as soon as grandma puts it in her bag or pocket, it can be activated and the battery can be drained.
I got it for my mother-in-law. She's a big woman so she wanted something easy to use with big letters!!! It's just what she needs.
I got it for my grandmother and we are very satisfied. She uses it only for calls, so it has been convenient for her.
I got it for my father who doesn't see very well up close and works in a noisy environment. The speaker sounds very good and the vibration is satisfactory. Also, the letters are large enough for him to see and it's very easy to use even for older people who are not good with technology. We'll have to see how long it lasts. For the money, it's exactly what I expected.
I bought it for my elderly mother who finds it difficult to use a mobile phone. I was looking for a phone with the simplest possible usage. Its positives are that the flap is active (after the relevant setting) and it answers and hangs up by opening and closing the flap. I programmed the M1 and M2 buttons with my phone and my brother's phone and stuck two stickers with our names on them. So now she can open the flap, press the corresponding memory button, and call us.
As for the contacts list, it is relatively difficult to use and there is no option to change shortcuts with the up and down arrow button like other phones from the same company. For what you are asking for, this phone is perfect.
An excellent phone for the money it costs. I got it for my mother and she is very satisfied.
