The only good thing is the controller, it's really worth it. Beyond that, chaos. A console that initially promised 4K and 60fps on all its titles suddenly releases a Forbidden West and a God of War, and even with RT enabled, it drops below 30fps, making the game unplayable. Not to mention the fiasco with backwards compatibility. Sony has done something epic here - you can only play games with PS4 discs, if you put in a disc from PS1, 2, or 3, it won't read it. At the same time, on the PS Store, you'll find PS1, 2, and 3 games that you can play on the console, but only if you have the most expensive subscription (€120). So the console has an emulator inside for all its previous consoles, but they say they won't unlock all the emulators so that they can squeeze more money out of you tomorrow or the day after (as if they haven't already given you enough). You buy a game with a subscription, and guess what? If you don't renew the subscription, you can't play the game again. You have to keep renewing the subscription. Not to mention that the free games they give every month are worthless, not just garbage, but seriously, in all of 2022, they only gave four titles that were 3A, and those were from 2019 and earlier. Needless to say, I've already sold the console and won't give Sony a single euro again, at least until they stop seeing the buying public as a wallet for sure!
