In the short time that I have had them and without having put them through any kind of hardship, they have significantly lost their color and the leather - which is not exactly leather - has become quite wrinkled. The purchase was made based on previous experience with shoes of the same brand that I had bought before 2000, of course at a much higher price, which came with special cloths and silicone for leather care. I can confidently say that the ones I recently purchased have absolutely no resemblance to the Timberland shoes I had bought before 2000.
