The K&F Concept Mutate Series aluminum travel tripod features a compact and portable body, with a folding size of less than 500mm/20" and an ultra-lightweight of 1819g/4lbs. The folding diameter is smaller than the volume of a regular water bottle. The compact design of the tripod makes it easy to fit into any camera bag or luggage.
To ensure the tripod has the same stability as a tripod without a central column, it is designed with an integrated locking base, so the tripod legs can lock tightly and provide amazing professional-level stability.
The central column of the Mutate Series M1 Travel Tripod can be detached or assembled in 3 steps and 3 seconds, saving time when shooting macro or close-up photography on the ground.

I haven't had it for long and can't assess its durability, however, the first impressions are very positive. The construction seems quality, it can hold quite a bit of weight (DSLR + Vertical Grip + Heavy lens it handles very comfortably). It has a very compact size for the height it can reach. It's not super lightweight but due to its relatively small size, it can easily be attached to the side of a camera backpack, so I believe it has very good portability without sacrificing maximum height and load.
I decided to try this brand, but I don't think I did it right! First of all, I have two other tripods, one more expensive (twice the price) and one cheaper.
--- The clips for locking the legs are plastic and not metal (I don't know if they will hold up).
--- If you raise the column, stability is lost (no comparison to other tripods).
--- All the screws for locking the head give a feeling of cheapness.
--- The feet have some articulation, I'm not sure if it's better than a simple rubber at the edge.
--- For portable use, I wouldn't say it's lightweight.
I expected something better for the money.
Update 12/2/24
After exactly three uses, I went to open it for the fourth time and the latch was broken!
I send it to ADORAMA (the importer), they "fix" it and send it back, I open it, immediately one latch breaks and I see another one already cracked and ready to break. We're not even talking about use, it broke just by latching it!
I call them, they tell me to send it back again, packaging, etc. (They send it for free but you pay €10 when they send it back!)
The most unacceptable tripod I have ever seen, tripods for €60 have much better quality.
I bought it for my Sony A7 with a Sigma Art 24-70 lens. It is quite heavy lens and it holds it just fine. I believe it will also work well with a telephoto lens. It is quite sturdy and I believe it is worth its money
