I know Crucial and I have been using it for a long time, I had several hard drives that were good, this one will definitely not disappoint, its performance is normal and as stated on the page, now it will also show over time if it will perform the same, I have had it for 3 months and so far it is going great!!
The disk is very valuable for its price, 1 month of ownership and quite fast, I use it as a second one which runs all the games. After all, it's no coincidence that in the PCI 5.0 interface, Crucial is among the 8-10 companies that currently offer M2 SSDs. For demanding gaming, prefer 2TB.
P.S. If the system doesn't recognize it, check out some videos on YT, it's a very easy process.
I was between this one and the Kingston NV2. After reading some bad reviews about the Kingston, I decided to buy this one. I believe it is the best for its price in PCIe 3. Its speeds are real. I easily cloned Windows in 10 minutes and the BIOS recognized it right away. The reason I chose this one is the very good long-term reviews. Because as I mentioned above, I was considering buying the Kingston, but many users have suffered significant damage with that one. So for those who want to keep their files safe in the long term, this is an excellent solution.
As a former owner of the Samsung 970 Evo 500GB, I can say that it has nothing to envy from other competitors like Crucial. It is VFM for its speeds and the space at this price. I would buy it again.
I believe that it is worth buying products from Crucial since you pay for what you need without paying for the brand. Instead of going to Samsung and paying an extra fee for no reason, I came here and I'm very happy!
Although it is PCIe 3x4, it is faster than many newer generations. I installed it in a system where I already had a Patriot P310, which it surpasses by 1000 MB/s in READ and WRITE. Also, although I made it the system disk, it is 6 degrees Celsius "cooler" than the Patriot...
I recently got this SSD and the speeds are impressive.
Even though I have put it on a slightly old motherboard, specifically the ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0, which doesn't matter now.
I had installed the SSD, started the computer, but it had frozen on the ASRock logo.
I removed it, updated the BIOS to version L10.0 of the motherboard, reinstalled it, installed Windows, ran tests, and the speeds were at 3300 MB/s the first time and now that I retest on 9/7/2024, they are at 3425.49 MB/s.
Crucial is very good and well-known in the industry, I also have a very good HDD. This particular M2 SSD is among the top 3 that you can get and it might even be the cheapest. The speeds are exactly as they say, simply TOP!
It was installed today by cloning my Samsung SSD EVO. It's the 1tb version. The first thing I will say is that only the read speed is as advertised. The write speed is much lower (at least for me with MSI tomahawk mo/bo B450 max) and it's at 2400mbps instead of 3000. Other than that, I don't see anything strange. It loads Windows 11 immediately, etc.
For the money, it's the best. I had it on my wishlist for a while until I bought it. I will come back for anything else.
Purchased as a value for money with fairly fast speeds (at least on paper). I haven't done any tests to check the speeds, but it works fine without any lag and everything opens quickly. If it holds up, I will be very satisfied.
My first SSD and the first time I buy a Crucial product. It has been in my system for 1 month now and I haven't encountered any problems. It is very fast and the temperatures don't exceed 45 degrees. For the 40 euros I paid for the 1TB, I feel like I made the right choice for my Budget PC. 1TB NVMe for 40 euros, what negative thing can you really say?
I have had it for 2.5 months, purchased for 39.50 euros, its temperatures are excellent (placed on a laptop), speeds are above those stated by the manufacturer. For now, I am very satisfied, it definitely worth the price I bought it for, but now, at around 60 euros, there may be better options available
I can't give less than 5 stars for its price. With 40 euros, you get a 1tb m.2 ssd with speeds over 3000 mbps. The prices are approximately as stated. Although the read speed was 100 mbps less than stated, the write speed was 200+ mbps higher. Of course, the other speeds are relatively naturally reduced, but this may have to do with my model. Nevertheless, the temperature remains consistently at 35 degrees without affecting its performance, so it doesn't require any kind of cooling. In summary, it is definitely worth the money and I would recommend it for a small computer upgrade.
Simple and beautiful.
You just plug it in, clone your old boot and play.
Speeds are exactly as promised.
I can now download at 900mbps (on a gigabit connection) from Steam (the previous one would reach speed for a bit and then cut off the download and start again).
DRAM-less, but very fast "drive". Used to upgrade a mac mini and gave it triple the speed and responsiveness. 1tb nvme drive at a low price and with impressive performance... Value for money!
Excellent quality and speed for the price, it delivers what it promises with characteristic ease.
Boot Windows in 8 seconds (with the clock), and loading times for games are reduced to zero, especially for heavy and very heavy parts!!!
2 TB for 120 euros, it's great... Not even in our dreams a few months ago, prices will drop even further.
P.S. In tests, it is significantly better than the Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB that I recently purchased!!!!!
Price is a steal for a 4TB NVMe with these speeds.
I use it as an external backup where I store huge orchestral libraries (ranging from 30GB to 200GB per file) and it works like a charm.
Extremely satisfied so far.
