I used the product for 1 month. I have a 4-5 month old kitten and I use a closed litter box with dimensions 57x39x41cm, which I clean daily. I found the product advertised on Facebook and it caught my attention, so I did some more research and decided to try it. You can search for it on YouTube.
Before, I used clumping clay litters and I had tried 3 different brands (medium to expensive) and they all had the same problems (regardless of what they advertised): too much dust, strong chemical smell with moderate odor control, clumping issues as the days went by, and litter tracking outside the box by the cat. Also, they claim that 10kg lasts for 1 month, but that never happened with any brand, it always lasted less.
I am amazed by this product, as it either has minimal problems or no problems at all. I have never seen even a tiny bit of dust. Litter tracking in the house never happens, only 2-3 pellets per use right outside the box where I have a special mat, and nowhere else. It has a great scent (vanilla-like) with a completely natural feel, nothing like the chemical fragrances of clay litters. Even after use, its odor control is impressive. The clumping is very good and there are few issues, making cleaning easier and faster. After a month, the floor of the litter box is almost never dirty. And something very important: you can flush the waste down the toilet, which, regardless of environmental consciousness, is a great convenience in everyday life.
The packaging contains two packs that are supposed to last for up to 2 months. The price is 25€, which means 12.5€ per month. Considering the huge upgrade compared to clay litter (~10€/month), it's not expensive at all. There is also a red packaging that contains only tofu pellets with a price of 28.5€. The yellow packaging is essentially a mixture of tofu pellets and clay litter, which is why it is cheaper.
The -let's say- negatives:
Perhaps it is a bit difficult for the cat to adjust to the new litter, as it has a different texture, composition, and pellet shape. The instructions on the packaging suggest initially mixing it with the old litter for a smooth transition. I didn't do that and sometimes my cat gets confused and doesn't bury it immediately. Also, it is still trying to get used to the texture and shape of the pellets.
As the days go by, while cleaning is really easy, you notice that the pellets get dirty and you have to discard a larger amount, not just the clumped waste.
If you follow the recommended usage of creating a 5cm layer in the litter box and cleaning it daily, it is impossible for it to last for 2 months. It might last for 1.5 months, which definitely increases the price per month. I should note that if the litter is less than 5cm in height, the results are indeed worse.
In conclusion, I believe that this product is absolutely worth its price, no matter how long it lasts. It is so convenient and healthy for everyone that I don't even think about it. I will also try the red packaging, I imagine it will be even better. I should note that out of the only 4-5 brands of tofu pellets available in the Greek market, it is by far the most affordable (according to Skroutz search).
