The polyphonic String9 by EHX transforms the guitar into 9 different string ensembles and synths, without requiring any modifications, special pickups, or MIDI implementation. It is based on the same technology that powers all EHX 9 Series pedals.

It includes the Freeze effect feature in 3 of the presets, allowing you to sample and hold notes and achieve chords with endless sustain.

A rotary switch allows the user to select the sound of their choice:

• PCM
• Floppy
• AARP
• Crewman
• Orch Freeze
• Synth Freeze
• Vox Freeze

The pedal is equipped with independent Effect & Dry volume controls, so players can fine-tune their mix to the Effects output jack. There is also a Dry output that always outputs the input signal as gain. Controls 1 & 2 are designed to adjust specific parameters for each of the programs, adding usability and flexibility to every sound.
