The review concerns the 24,000 BTU unit. The rating reflects my expectations based on what I had read in the information from the official representative, but it also evaluates the treatment I received from the representative when they took it for inspection. Specifically: The outdoor unit is very noisy, so much so that I requested an inspection from the company (it was one year old and under warranty). After the inspection, they replied that it was fine (of course). However, I received it back damaged, externally with many marks and dirty. The comment was: if it has a problem in operation, otherwise if it works, it doesn't matter. I emphasized to the representative that I have 3 other 24,000 BTU air conditioners from different companies and you pass by without realizing they are working! Of course, they acted as if they didn't hear it! Also, the internal plastics and the louvers make noise when they move, so much that I am forced to keep them stationary. To avoid tiring you, besides the fact that I expected it to be a much more quality air conditioner (since it is expensive), of course, silent, I was very bothered that my equipment did not receive attention when the technicians took it from my space and returned it themselves. It was returned with many marks (dented frames, scratches) and very dirty as if they had touched it with oily hands that couldn't be cleaned with soap! It may have happened to me, I don't know, but I certainly wouldn't buy toytomi again

4 days before the end of the 2-year warranty, it stopped working and displayed error H6. After trying the solutions suggested in the manual, I contacted Toyotomi to send a technician. Within 24 hours, they contacted me from the authorized service (probably Infoquest) and the next day they came to my house. Result: the motor burned out! I should note that the maintenance had been done properly. They replaced it, told my wife that the replacement part they installed has no warranty at all, and did not leave any document certifying their intervention on the air conditioner and their visit! A machine costing €1400 broke down so soon. Statistically, it will be off in 2 years. I made a big mistake not buying Fujitsu again...

It immediately warms up the room, relatively quiet, very beautiful and modern.
The only downside is the relatively poor remote control. It's big, not particularly nice, and it doesn't have the best range as several have already mentioned, but by no means the exaggerated situations they describe.
Personally, this didn't bother me at all since I directly installed the Ewpe Smart app on my phone, which immediately detected the air conditioners, and it was very easy to connect to the wifi and then use them.
I haven't heard the best things about the Toyotomi app, so I didn't try it.
As for the remote controls... Once they came out of the box, they went straight into a drawer, and I don't see them coming out again.
I consider it a given that by 2024 (almost 2025), anyone will manage the air conditioning not only from their phone instead of struggling with remote controls. No matter how good an air conditioner is, for me, it's unthinkable not to have wifi or to have wifi but poor app support. With this particular model, I have been satisfied from every aspect.

I purchased 2 (18,000 BTU and 9,000 BTU) in black color.
First, I should say that they are quite dark gray and not pure black, but I had seen them up close and liked them. Perfect in design, and that's why I chose them.I am quite satisfied with the performance in the summer months; I will return in the winter.
The noise is satisfactory; I have not worked with anything quieter even at full capacity, which can be heard, but there is no reason to run it at maximum fan speed.
On paper, the consumption seems good; in practice, it will show, since I have had them for less than a month.
I agree with the reviews that mention the issue with the remote control. It doesn't catch unless you are underneath and aim it, and sometimes it may not catch.
The issue with the remote control is naturally solved with the WiFi capability.
I use the Ewpe Smart app and have immediate access to everything - inside and outside the house. However, not everyone will use it with their mobile phone, and perhaps an elderly person or someone with mobility issues may have a problem. Hence the 4 stars.I struggled to connect them to WiFi and did not find instructions on the internet, apart from the manual instructions.
I have removed the provider's router and am using TP-Link decos.
I tried for 3 days and nothing, until I tried to create a hotspot from another phone, and it connected normally.
Since AI is now a tool, I asked the chat GPT what settings to use for my WiFi to match those of the hotspots on the phone.
I followed the steps with the necessary settings, and everything was fine.

My parents have an old Fujitsu, very powerful and quiet. I bought the toyotomi erai when I found out it's the only one made in Japan. It sounds like a diesel engine, especially at night when it's quiet. When it reaches the desired temperature, it becomes quiet, but when it needs to work again, it's the same. Also, the remote control needs to be in front of the air conditioner to function, unbelievable. I have installed two air conditioners, one 24,000 BTU and one 14,000 BTU, and the same applies to both. I will talk about the 24,000 BTU air conditioner that I installed last October. I am very satisfied with its performance, although it did not have to endure heavy winter conditions this year, so it has not been tested in very cold temperatures. It was powerful enough and quickly heated a 40 sqm space whenever needed.
There is a major issue with the installation, as both the external and internal holes need to be sealed. In my case, because it was installed above a sliding balcony door, there was some leakage that affected the thermostat, which is located on the right side next to the pipes.
However, the biggest problem is the noise produced by the internal unit. Regardless of the fan speed, apart from the airflow, there is a penetrating sound that varies depending on the fan's power. It seems to be the noise of the motor, which becomes more pronounced inside the plastic casing of the unit, as if it were a speaker.
Although I called the dealership and they replaced the fan-motor set as a precaution, the noise persists. Only in silent mode is it tolerable, and I will have to get used to it since I spent so much money.
Another issue that most people have mentioned is the limited range of the remote control, where you have to aim precisely for it to work. This practically renders the isense function useless, which is the temperature sensor on the remote control.
When isense is activated, it sends the temperature it detects every 10 minutes, and if the unit does not receive the signal, it does not work. This can be completely resolved if someone with electronic knowledge opens the remote control and moves the infrared transmitter further out with two longer wires, attached closely to the front glass.
Now it can be controlled from anywhere without having to aim at the unit.
Regarding power consumption, I have installed a tapo P110 socket and have observed the following:
- During the winter, it dropped to 550 watts at idle, while in sleep mode, it went down to 450 watts.
- In cooling mode, which has not been used extensively yet, I have seen it reach up to 290 watts in a couple of tests, but I will provide more information when it is tested in higher temperatures.The artificial intelligence, which no one explains how it works, as far as I have understood from my usage so far, is that when it reaches and maintains the desired temperature, it goes into idle mode and activates the AI, which maintains the temperature in the most economical way without increasing consumption.
Through usage, it gathers some conclusions about the space and how quickly it reaches the desired temperature. So, if we close it and reopen it at some point, it will not need to work at full power but at the necessary wattage to bring the space to the desired temperature.
The external unit does make noise, mostly from the air it expels, but it is not bothersome, although it is quite large.
I did not encounter any issues with the Wi-Fi connection; it connected very quickly. So, anyone experiencing problems should check their router settings.

Excellent air conditioner, but with a catch. If you get it in blue color, due to its (presumably) different paint, the remote control doesn't work in all angles. You have to aim with great precision for it to work, which makes the user experience extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, I took the risk of buying it before the first reviews were written and I regretted it. Only because of this flaw, I would recommend it only in the white version.
EDIT (from 4 to 3 stars): After contacting the dealership, they came and checked the difficulty in operating the device and confirmed what I said. It has been 3 months and they never contacted me again to provide a solution for the remote control not working.
EDIT (from 3 to 4 stars again): After 1.5 years, they replaced the remote control with a newer generation (black) one, which works slightly better. It's something, considering the unacceptable white one.

This is the latest series of Toyotomi (18,000). Very powerful and quiet machine. Compared to a Midea that I had, it's like day and night. Of course, it's also twice the price. Beautiful as a machine. Its remote control does not do a good job, you have to go in front of the unit to get the commands. Its WiFi is not good until you find it, you waste your time and it requires Bluetooth and location to be enabled to work. In the snow with an external temperature of -1, it made several stops for defrosting but it did the job, it heated a 45 sqm high-ceiling room. I have no opinion on cooling. It was installed this year to help with heating, at least for the first cold days of winter. I should mention that I live in Kastoria, so the conditions are not the best, although this winter was not indicative. My expectations were fully met and then some. As for the noise, initially I had some noise from the external unit, which was completely eliminated by installing anti-vibration bases. Find a proper installer and the machine will work perfectly for you. (No issues at all with the wifi and the corresponding app!)

Purchased in early February '23. Installed in a 45sqm apartment with no insulation, wooden frames, and wooden doors without any thermal insulation. Its heating performance is excellent. Outside it was -4 degrees Celsius and inside it easily reached 24 degrees Celsius. On days with an external temperature of around 5 degrees Celsius and while the house had 12 degrees Celsius, it reached 22 degrees Celsius within 20 minutes.
Its construction is of high quality and sturdy.
It has several functions, such as the iSense, which is very convenient. You place the remote control wherever you want and it measures the desired temperature from there, not from the unit. It is also an all DC inverter, and many others that would take me two pages to mention.
The Wi-Fi is a bit tricky at first, but in the end, it works fine.
The only negative thing I have found so far is the noise. Both the indoor and outdoor units make a lot of noise. Of course, this only happens when the air conditioner is working at full capacity to reach the desired temperature. After that, it's a bit better.

The performance in heating on 8/2/2023 with Snow and external temperatures below 4 degrees and many defrosting. The -25 degrees for uninterrupted operation that the product advertises is nonexistent. I contacted the company's service and they came from here, we checked the machine and found everything ideal, both the installation and the operation. The defrosting said it is normal haha. The problem with defrosting is that it takes 10 minutes plus 5 minutes of preparation and starts from 19 degrees, it takes about a quarter with 20 minutes to reach 24 degrees. The temperature in the room drops about 1 to 1.5 degrees during this time, and as you can understand, during the night it cannot raise the temperature above 20 degrees. The time the technicians came was noon and the temperature was 6 degrees. We said that the problem is below 4 degrees. These machines are only for one room, I said, and this machine is too big for this space, 35 sqm. We don't even discuss the fact that it shouldn't freeze at all. Because the discussion with the technicians lasted over an hour with explanations upon explanations, if a friend who has the same machine has a problem and wants to ask for details and analysis, they can write to me to discuss it.
I come back after 1 year. Using the intelligent technology (I Sense button) of the remote control, which must definitely see the air conditioning unit, the control should be where we sit without being interested in other areas, the temperature is flawlessly 24 degrees. Consumption 24,000 BTU 850-950 W. I also installed a 12,000 BTU in the bedroom, which I only operate when the temperatures are low, below 4 degrees, and for a few hours during the day and sometimes at night. 100 sqm detached house, 24 degrees is a game.
