The trekker tent from Nils is a double-layer tent that offers a bedroom and a large vestibule for rainy evenings or storage of camping gear. The tent can accommodate four people, ensuring ample space and comfort while sleeping.
High resting comfort in difficult weather conditions is provided by a waterproof sheet and floor with parameters of 3000mm H2O.
The material is UV resistant, does not fade, and maintains its structural integrity.
The Trekker tent has two large entrances in the vestibule. The bedroom is made of breathable material that prevents the formation of condensation while the user sleeps. The bedroom also features a mosquito net and ventilation holes at the back. All these solutions maintain high levels of ventilation and air circulation, ensuring a long and comfortable sleep.
The tent is based on three fiberglass frames integrated with the sheet. The tunnels and frames are marked with the same color, making it easy to match the correct frame with the tunnel. Thanks to the special bases inside the sheet, a bedroom can be hung inside the tent. The entire tent is secured with pegs, along with the cords that secure the sheet.
The Trekker is equipped with a carrying bag, making it easy to pack the tent during travel.
The tent is equipped with two interior pockets for storing handy items and a pouch under the roof for hanging a light.
The frame made of fiberglass is a common choice for the construction of camping tents. It is a lightweight and durable material, made from fiberglass fibers that are usually coated with polyester to protect them from water and moisture.
Fiberglass is flexible, so the frame can be lightweight and flexible to support the tent fabric.
The waterproofing of a tent indicates how much water its outer fabric can repel. It is measured in millimeters (mm) and refers to how many millimeters of a vertical water column (and thus pressure) a square centimeter of fabric can withstand without being penetrated by water.
The higher the waterproofing rating, the less breathable the fabric is, and thus the warmer the tent. Common waterproofing values range from 500mm to 10,000mm. Theoretically, any fabric with waterproofing >1000mm is considered waterproof. For example, a summer tent may have waterproofing from 500 to 1500mm.
