    With a double pass on melamine + plywood, it leaves no marks. In this size, the 36 teeth are more than enough. I bought it as an economical solution to cut wooden panels before they go on the bench. It cuts nicely for the money.
    The circular saw is 1000-1200 watts and struggles with cutting hard wood. Compared to an 18-tooth blade on this particular circular saw
