  I have had it for about three months.

  It was placed on top of a quite old mattress which is also quite hard and has minimal elasticity. We didn't want to change the mattress because in the coming months we will renovate the bedroom and possibly change the bed, and we didn't want to have bought a mattress because it would limit us in dimensions, so we decided to go with this temporary solution.

  In essence, the difference is very significant, much more than "just noticeable" from both my perspective and my partner's. I was quite skeptical due to some negative comments and the small thickness of the mattress; I was thinking, with a thickness of 4 cm, what difference could you see? And yet I was proven wrong, and the mattress is now quite comfortable, and you enjoy sleep to a much greater extent! It has become much softer, and the memory foam is indeed quite high quality, hugging the body as this material should.

  Since I have experience with quite expensive multi-layer mattresses both with memory foam and natural latex, etc., obviously a mattress topper costing 100€ cannot in any way transform an old (usually bad, as in our case) mattress and provide such results, but yes, it can extend the life of old mattresses or be placed in areas where the mattress is bad (e.g., in summer houses, villages, etc.) and we do not use it frequently.

  P.S. The dimensions of the topper are quite accurate with a slight deviation of 2-3 cm and in no case over 5 cm as mentioned in some comments. Measure your mattress and get the appropriate base; you won't have an issue with the size!
