Unable to connect, for no reason can it connect with the xiaomi app, I go through the replacement process via skroutz, I receive a second speaker (with a European charger this time) and again the same… now I am in the process of requesting a refund… we will see what happens!!!

Mediocre sound but the most important drawback is that it cannot manage devices other than ON/OFF with its own IR. Also, even with the mi application, it cannot learn IR commands. It supports OK in what it supports, but it's not much of what it does. Lights, switches, led strips, etc. OK.

For the money, it is perfect. Good sound, instant connection, and I can control my TV and air conditioner normally with the IR from the Mi Home app

The speaker for its price is excellent. Very easy connection with Google Home, lightweight but sturdy enough. I got it for my child's room so we can play music for him while he sleeps.
From this perspective, it deserves 5 stars because it does well what it was purchased for. Of course, the clock and IR usage are very positive aspects.
However! Compared to Google Nest and Google Nest Hub (owner of 4 devices), the sound quality is significantly worse. While the volume is fine, the performance is like night and day. Poor bass and less "clear" compared to those devices. (Yes, I have played with the pseudo-equalizer that Google Home provides)
So, if someone wants it exclusively for listening to music and is willing to spend a little more money, they should go for the Nest.

It is Xiaomi but you need Google home for it to work. It is smart speaker like any other Google assistant. You can use it with any device with Bluetooth,you have just to say "OK Google, pair bluetooth". Best thing ever is that through Xiaomi MI home app you can use it to remotely turn on or off any other device with IR. I use it often for Air conditioner. Sound is really good so I use it instead of a soundbar for TV. Excellent device.

For its price, it's worth it... It is an IR controller that has everything except for home cinema... The only negative thing is that it doesn't have remote control learning
