I got the first one, I struggled for two hours to connect it to the wifi... no way, I returned it. They sent me a second one that connects to the wifi and the connection doesn't last more than 3 seconds... connection, disconnection, it won't stabilize until it was removed from the O-KAM app by itself!! I have three others, previous model for over 2 years and they work like clockwork, I don't understand! I'm waiting for the store to tell me what's going on...
Attention! The wifi does not work! It pretends to connect but never actually does! I use it with ethernet, which also lags and is slower than another camera I have that connects via wifi! Extremely mediocre. (Note that I have bought 2 of these)
I have been "involved" with vstarcam because many years ago I happened to get my first IP cameras and they were from this company and I use the Eye4 application. Personally, I am completely satisfied with all the company's cameras. They all work, and some are outdoor, for many years....
QUESTION: if anyone knows, please answer with a question about the product. Can I work with cameras from other companies with Eye4, is it a generic application or is it exclusively for Vstarcam?
I have 4 vstarcam and they work great (bullet). I got this one and it doesn't work with the recorder, it doesn't change password, it's only for viewing from mobile. I'm sorry that vstarcam changed the way it works...
I bought 2 cameras, the first one was good, the second one not so much because with the first rain, even though it is under a roof, it got moisture and doesn't show properly. I have to adjust it, which is very high, so I send it back. Otherwise, it connects easily to the recorder, but sometimes it has back flashes like some other cheap ones I have of the brand andowl, which is much worse than vstarcam. This one is just easily adjustable for the recorder
I bought 4 cameras 4 months ago and at first they worked fine with very good image quality. Suddenly they started interfering, the lens couldn't focus resulting in their operation stopping suddenly. You did this to me on four cameras and that's why I gave one star
I have changed many cameras, some good and some not, and finally ended up with this one. It's an amazing camera without interruptions, even though I have a 50 Mbps connection, and overall without any issues. It detects human presence like crazy, as long as you set the motion detection to medium, otherwise it will bother you even with flies, or if you have pets around, set it to low to avoid unnecessary notifications. It has very good night vision and alarm. What impressed me is its application, which is truly one of the fastest and easiest I have seen. Personally, I recommend it
