These entry-level smart switches offer Layer 2 capabilities, Gigabit connectivity along with flexible management features - all at an affordable price. With a flexible management dashboard, Power over Ethernet (PoE) options, and energy-efficient features, these switches provide a reliable network for small and medium-sized businesses with limited budgets.

Gigabit Connectivity for Small Businesses

The Aruba Instant On 1830 Switch Series is a Layer 2 Ethernet switch series with smart management, ready for deployment in models that include 8, 24, and 48-port options for non-PoE and Class 4 PoE.

Two (2) dedicated 1G SFP fiber ports to eliminate traffic bottlenecks in your network.

With the PoE models, you have up to 30W power supply available for Class 4 PoE devices such as access points, surveillance cameras, and VoIP phones. The 24-port PoE model features a 195W power budget to support the latest IoT devices.

Simplify Network Deployment and Management

The Aruba Instant On 1830 Switch series offers ease of use, ready out of the box, plug-and-play installation.

The switches can be deployed using two management methods - Instant On cloud management (accessed via mobile app and/or web portal) and the local web GUI.

Class 4 PoE options allow powering devices such as IP phones, surveillance cameras, and access points without the cost of additional cabling.

Keep your business protected with built-in security features

The Aruba Instant On 1830 Switch series is enhanced with security features such as IEEE 802.1x, Global Storm Control, TPM (Trusted Platform Module) based security, and VLANs, to protect your network from unwanted or unauthorized access.

Leverage 802.1X with a RADIUS server to verify that only known and authorized users can access your network.

It supports automatic Denial of Service (DOS) monitoring and protects the network from malicious attacks.
