The screen is quite nice and big . The stand is sturdy and slightly udjustable ( nothing extreme just a few degrees to level it properly).colours need a little bit of calibration ( i have mine on brightness 50 sharpness 25 color 35) and in general a little tweeking is necessary to have a good result. I personally dont like the fact that you can only use the service usb port while on hdmi connection mode with the pc and not the other two usb a ports in the back. In the packaging there isnt any usb c to c cable to connect lets say a laptop or a tablet which is a little disappointing however not a big deal.
In general its quite nice and the speakers are decent fir a small space( mine is a 16 m2 room with minimal to no accoustic insulation).its quite the value for money monitor in its category and a very versatile monitor .
Intel i7, Windows 11, RTX 3060: it doesn't output 3840x2160 no matter what. It crops the image and in order to see it fully, you have to select the monitor to do EXTENSION, which means shrinking. Due to the high resolution, if you have it for a TV, it's not very noticeable, but it's visible. If it doesn't have 3840 pixels, they should clearly state it in the specs. I will also ask Samsung and if we figure it out, I will get back to you. Also, the sleep/wake function hasn't worked properly with the computer. I'm using its remote control. It works, don't get me wrong, but not as it should.
It is not a gaming monitor under any circumstances. It is a huge monitor that fits everything and has smart and other capabilities that you can't find in other monitors. It just takes a day or two to get used to it and it rewards you every moment. Completely satisfied with the purchase and its price.
Very impressive panel, brightness, colors, connectivity, everything is perfect so far. It is extremely lightweight and although it appears quite stable, I preferred to mount it on the wall to gain some distance. I haven't tried it for gaming yet, but it is excellent for office work. It requires Windows 11 to fully utilize it and a relatively new graphics card, I am using it with a GeForce 3060 and I am very satisfied
I got it just under 300.00 euros. The picture quality is very good with various settings (which are not difficult to try, without too many "deep" menus that you get lost in). You can easily find devices connected to the local network to transfer their image to this screen. The sound is very decent compared to other similar type screens I have seen. The included remote control is very user-friendly, resembling the small classic minimal control of Samsung TVs. The only drawback is its base, which is not stable at all. I will have to buy a VESA mount for my desk. Using it with a computer is a very nice experience. Being able to fit so many things on one screen, without small letters that are hard to read, is a great help for various writing/programming tasks, etc. Additionally, I added the Edision Nano T265+ to one of the HDMI ports. So I select it as the input source and I have a TV as well.
I haven't tried any demanding games, but I don't think anyone would buy it for that purpose. I will come back later...
2022/10/20 - Update. I take back what I said about the unstable base. Today, I tightened it much more and it's fine. My mistake!!! I apologize!!!
Also, automation features like brightness adjustment, etc. based on the room's lighting are not something you will use. This applies to other screens with such automation features as well, of course.
2022/11/06 - Update. Because I have noticed that when the screen goes into "sleep" mode and then the PC wakes up, the loaded applications appear minimized (in very small windows each). This is a setting in Windows that I can no longer find to disable. The solution I found is as follows: Before leaving the computer inactive for a while, I minimize all the applications (pressing the Windows key together with the D key) that are running at that time. So when I return and start bringing the applications back to the screen (pressing the Windows key together with the D key), they have maintained their size. If anyone can help with this setting (to tell Windows not to minimize all applications when the screen goes to sleep), which I can no longer find, please do so. It will be very useful.
2023/01/07 - Update. Regarding my previous observation about the shrinking of windows when the PC wakes up from "sleep" mode, it no longer applies with the new computer I bought. Obviously, it was a graphics card issue and how easily my previous card (and overall PC) handled 4K resolution. So most of you with a 3-4 year old computer (mine was 7 years old) probably haven't even noticed it. I apologize for any inconvenience. Now everything behaves normally without any strange behavior from my new PC.
